Aziza is such a gem - the food is incredible and it's just a beautiful space. Love coming here!
The food at Aziza was fantastic - every dish was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. However, our waiter was very pushy about ordering more dishes than we needed. We ended up with way too much food because we trusted his recommendations. Great cuisine, but be mindful of portion suggestions from the staff.
The restaurant was very loud, and it was very difficult to hear our server, not to mention each other.! The food was excellent - we shared several vegetarian dishes that we enjoyed, however, the one non vegetarian dish we had (the octopus) was pungent and tough. Unfortunately, our server didn't check back with us to ensure we were satisfied with our selections. Even so, our experience was overall good, but with more attentive service, it could have been great.
WE went there to celebrate our anniversary and we had a lovely dinner! The wines by the glass selection was great and the food and service was outstanding. We love Chef Mourad and how he recreated Aziza. Foods we ordered: The trio dip with sumac flatbread - a MUST! Prawn appetizer and cauliflower were outstanding. Chicken Basteeya was really good. Its a sweet-savory combination in a Phyllo dough casing. The Date cake is a must..not too sweet with salted caramel sauce and Vanilla icecream! Yummy!
This was our second visit to Aziza, and it possibly was even better than the first time. The food was amazing, but what was truly remarkable was the fact that the pace of courses was as leisurely as in a three star restaurant in Paris. There were four of us, and we ordered quite a a lot of food. Nothing was rushed, and each course came after we finished the previous one. It's rare in America to be able to dine in such a relaxed and comfortable manner. Highly recommended.
Things that you MUST get: Mussels and CORN BREAD. I'm still thinking about these. The chicken was good too. Mocktails very mid would probably not get those again
Cauliflower is a must as is the octopus and the corn bread. Really loved the chicken in filo too. Everything we ate was delicious and our waitress was engaging and made the best reservations!
The food and service were outstanding. The noise level and uncomfortable leather chairs detracted from the overall experience.
I really enjoyed my meal - it's a lovely setting with excellent service. I appreciated the presentation as well as the flavors. Of note was the harissa butter that accompanied the custardy cornbread. Chef's kiss! And, although I was full, I could not stop eating the date cake - the salted caramel complemented the cake perfectly, as did the vanilla ice cream and the texture of the candied nuts. That was a masterpiece. And yes, I finished every crumb. This was a fabulous treat!
The ambiance was nice and servers were great. The food just didn't blow me away. I tried a little of everyone's plate out of 6 of us and nothing stood out. Great presentation of food though. Not sure I would try it again.

The food was very good, but I mentioned that it was my husband's birthday and they didn't do anything special.
The food is great, main portions are appropriate. I would suggest an appetizer and salad. The service is good, you don't feel rushed allowing plenty of time for a nice casual time to dine and have good conversation
The quality of the ingredients and creativeness of the dishes, inaddition to the stellar taste are phenomenal. The service was attentive, but kitchen a little slow. Greatness was totally worth the wait!!!!!
The branzino and the cornbread are amazing. I have never had anything like these two dishes.
My wife and I had been to Morocco before and thought going to Aziza would be a great way to celebrate her birthday. Since it was just the two of us, we thought it would be better to go tapas style instead of ordering larger mains. We got the trio of spreads, octopus, kefta, basteeya, and corn bread. All of this was delicious but we saw other tables order the short rib tangia and that looked great! If we were to re-order, we would have swapped out the basteeya and corn bread. Both are sweeter (the basteeya is a sweet-savory flavor profile because it is topped with powdered sugar) if your preferences are more savory. Service was amazing. The staff are knowledgeable and very helpful!
