Definitely a step above your average neighborhood Thai place. Best green curry I’ve had in a long time. Very bright and fresh flavors. Cute little place, simple and low-key.

We organized a 30+ people private luncheon party at Baan Yaai with guests of various dietary restrictions. The owners: Kong and Leah, and our contact person Maitai were very helpful and personable. They were essential parts of the party prep team, taking time to know us, the occasion and accommodating to various needs with fast turnaround. Our whole group had such a smooth experience thanks to the Baan Yaai team! Thanks for taking care of us with your kindness and dedication🌹 services are only amazing because great people are running it- and this is the place ☺️

Ate their signature dish - the Khao Soi; total banger. Huge bowl of rich flavourul curry/soup with fried noodles. Will be back for more.

Absolutely delicious Pad Thai! One of the best I ever tasted! Big (huge) portion for a faire price in a cosy atmosphere and very friendly staff! Shout out to the lady handling the kitchen on her own, god knows how!

There were four of us, but we only had two glasses of ice water. The taste was very average. The main thing was that the ingredients were very poor, the beef was very tough, and the portion was very small. The bill for three people was $100, and I was still very hungry. I will never go there again. How did this 4.6 rating come about?

This is excellent Thai food.
We started the meal with the gyoza in red curry sauce. Very tasty. Crispy and hot.
For lunch the wife had the drunken noodle and I had the pad Thai with shrimp. My pad Thai was very solid, just exactly how you expect it. Excellent.
Now my wife is, I would say, a thai food enthusiast. I'm not sure it's her main passion, but she could probably get a PhD in loving Thai food.
This is her fourth favorite Thai food, in San Francisco. That is very high praise. When asked, she said she would eat here again, which my wife if she doesn't like the Thai food she will never go back to the city that the Thai food was made in.
She had the drunken noodle. She said it was a classic drunken noodle and very good.
We had two Thai iced teas and that was it. I'm very much recommend if you're in the neighborhood.

We were pleasantly surprised at how authentic the food was! The menu had dishes from all over Thailand, and we had the Pad Thai and Green Curry with chicken. Both were delicious and large portions. The chicken was not over cooked which was appreciated. Service was efficient and friendly. Looking forward to trying some more of the regional specialties, such as Khao soi and Massaman curry.

We spent over six weeks in Thailand in January and February this year and we ate well!! So trying to find an authentic Thai restaurant, we decided to give this a try! We’re so glad we did as we felt that there flavors and taste were so reminiscent of all the food we ate at very local restaurants and vendors in Southern Thailand as well as Chiang Mai.
We ordered green curry with chicken and the chicken pad Thai. We also ordered brown rice. The food was perfect and brought us back to our time earlier this year in Thailand.
We coming back to try many different dishes in their menu!! Also service was excellent!!

Smallish Thai place with some fun unique offerings. They had a Thai omurice and a beef curry I had not seen at many other places.
I think their seasoning leaned a bit too sweet for my liking and their fried rice was just okay.
Staff was pretty busy at the time and so were not super attentive and got our order wrong. But they were super nice about fixing it.
Would probably go back to try their curry fried rice and appetizers.

Although the food was better than ok, but the unhappy faces really killed it for us. The curries were very average, khou sui was nice
