5 of us went for an early dinner around 4pm. Rustic place, bit grunge, bit philly...bit dive bar.
The characters in this place were awesome. Lots of friendly banter and even a game of domino's.
The food was excellent.
I had the chicken and pulled pork with ceaser side. All of it was juicy, flavourful. If we're back there next year, Def will go back.

So I finally decided to try this place. I tried out the sausage plate with a chile verde cheddar pork sausage that comes with rice & beans and cornbread. The flavor of the sausage was delicious but some of my beans were undercooked and hard. I thought the cornbread was horrible and lacked that cornbread texture and flavor. For a $27.16 price tag with a drink I was highly disappointed with only two small sausages. That was definitely not $30 worth of food or service when the guy played dominoes the whole time I was there with a customer. I highly doubt I will try anything else from here again!

Typical American BBQ. For those who like brisket, pulled pork and ribs... excellent service, we arrived when it was closing and they served us very well
Solid collared greens, brisket and pork ribs. Not many bbq joints in the city. This is a good one. Staff was fantastic. We’ll be back for the mac n cheese, chili, and the Rest of the extensive menu.

I wish I could eat here everyday. My wife and I had to relocate to Virginia for a few months and of all the things I missed about SF this was near the top of the list. Excellent food, friendly service and great value.

Absolutely garbage bbq food!! I don't even understand how this has good reviews. I spent a $126 on this garbage. I got 2 racks of ribs both burnt and dry and gross .Then ti got 3 things of Mac and cheese which were about $30 It's disgusting tasting and looks nothing like the pictures and the portion they give you is a joke. This is a joke you all need to be ashamed of yourself!! I'm beyond I paid this much and I'm embarrassed even service to my guests so thank you very much.

Very clean and inviting bbq joint with TV's. One of the few places around open at noon for lunch. The portion is huge! The fries are thick cut and overflowing. The Brisket sandwich itself is solid but not impressive, good quality BBQ sauces. Staff is friendly; A great place with a good value. $21 for the Brisket Sando and fries. They also serve a diverse selection of Craft beer. Friendly staff, will be back to try the other meats
