Ballast Point Brewing San Francisco offers beer and food. Both were of high quality, and the service was satisfactory.
beer is good, food is solid
I'm a big fan of their beers but, honestly, I tend to lower my expectations with brewery food but this place really did deliver a very high quality and efficient menu of delicious dishes! The chicken wings were fried hot and crispy. The fish and chips were also the same but light and not oily. The slaw and wedge fries were also lightly seasoned and tasty still. Fried chicken thigh sandwich was over sauced but cooked perfectly moist. Caesar salad was nicely tossed with lots of croutons but no sardines. Service was excellent. Ordering through the QR code was simple and efficient. Restrooms were clean. Seat yourself with plenty of tables and bar seats. TV everywhere. Not a bad seat in the house. 2.5 hour validated parking at Owens St garage.
Delicious food, great beer and fun game nights!
Awesome brewery!!
Great wings, Mission Loteria and great vibes!!
Beer is average and the fried cheese is too salty.
I went on Saturday with a large group of people and at least a third of us got severe food poisoning on Sunday night as a result of eating the food at the restaurant.
It was some of the worst food poisoning that i've had in a while and I'm greatly disappointed in the experience that I've had here since previously things were fine with the exact same group but as a result I'll never go back due to the experience we had here
Ballast Point Brewing Company offers a fantastic experience with quick and efficient service, thanks to their automated ordering system. The process was seamless, allowing us to place our orders easily and receive our food and drinks without delay.
The atmosphere is great, with a lively vibe and plenty of space to relax and enjoy their excellent selection of craft beers. The food was also delicious and paired perfectly with their brews.
If you’re looking for a spot with great beer, tasty food, and no hassle service, Ballast Point is definitely worth a visit!
We had reserved a table for 8, but there was no service at all. No one came to our table to ask if we needed anything, so we had to walk up to place an order every time. It's overpriced for zero service. The only reason we come here is because it's convenient from our office.

Delicious beers (especially the Grunion pale ale) with some solid fish and chips. Service was friendly and atmosphere was relaxed.
Poor service unpredictable hours. I’ve tried to go twice and each time their doors are locked during their posted business hours I gave up I wouldn’t bother. There’s plenty of other great places in San Francisco to try.
We tried about 10 different flavors of beer and ordered the truffle fries. We did not like most of the beer flavors and there was no truffle on the fries. When I told the server, the server came back and said the kitchen said they added the truffle and brought me a container of truffle oil. -_- that is not the same! You're supposed to lightly toss the oil as soon as the fries come out of the fryer. Not dump cold truffle oil on already cold fries. The worst part was the server's attitude, we probably won't be back.
Lots of seating inside, bright and spacious. Good for groups and socializing and board games... Great food menu beyond the usual bar food. The garlic fries were piping hot - so good. Wings were saucy. Good draft selection and they have sours and ciders... and kombucha too?! Love love love. Hard to park - limited street parking and garages are hard to access unless you work near by, so you might need to walk a few blocks.
Been here for an afternoon drink with coworkers. Nice environment, good beer, quiet enough to talk in regular voice. The fries are super crispy and yummy!
