I'm Salvadoran and I can guarantee the flavor of their pupusas, sopa de pata and empanadas is very authentic. The portions are great so are the quality of the ingredients. The staff is busy but friendly and speak Spanish. The place gets quite busy specially on Sundays, so expect a waiting time of 20-30 minutes depending on the hour.

I would like to give 5 stars but the owner serves this concept, if you want, eat here and if you don't like the way I am, go somewhere else, my business will always make profits with you or without you! Every time I go I make sure that she doesn't serve me. The truth is, the customer service is disgusting, but the people who work for her are wonderful.

This place is busy busy busy! It's located in a congested area so parking can very difficult, however the area has great access to public transportation. The service works really hard to keep up with the fast pace environment, you can tell. I normally place my order for pickup and it's never been wrong. The wait time is normally around 20-25 minutes, nothing has ever exceeded 30 before. The pupusas are amazing, much like their other location on 18th. Highly recommend!

Hands down the best Pupusas in San Francisco! I was raised in San Francisco that's were I'm from the MISSION District the old school MISSION District. The revueltas and queso de loroco are awesome.

Before, I used to come very frequently, but I stopped coming for almost a year. I returned with my daughter on Sunday. The food was very delicious. 10/10, thank you.

I'm not a big fan of Balompie #3 I still prefer the #1, with that said since last time I was here they improved on the wait time between ordering and getting the food served but unfortunately the quality went down. I ordered a Salpicon and the meat was chewy, the flavor very thick in an unpleasant way and it was mixed with a lot more veggies than ever plus the potion definitely smaller. This feels like a strategy to serve less meat for more money. The pupusas are ok.

They one of the most delicious pupusas in San Francisco. The spicy curtido is my favorite.
