Large tasty sandwiches for a reasonable price ($10 to $11 each). There are a few seats in the store, but we like to take them to Golden Gate Park (1 block away) for a picnic.

Ordered Crunch Combo and Lemongrass beef sandwiches. Cut them in half and shared half a sandwich each with a friend at Marina Green.
Crunch has a thin veneer of delicious pate on the bottom bread. Bread was crispy on top and soft throughout which was easy to chew. Sometimes Banh mi bread makes my jaw ache from excessive chewing. The bread they use is fantastic.
The only gripe is that there was a mouthful of gristle in my lemongrass beef, but otherwise, the sandwiches were delicious and composed well.
I’ll definitely come back. Forget the others. So far, it’s my favorite/the best Banh mi I’ve tried in San Francisco.

This place is 10/10. The service was immediately and so friendly. The food was outstanding and arrived fast. Highly recommend the 5 spice chicken Bahn mi sandwich and the lemongrass tofu vermicelli salad bowl! The bathrooms were also very clean :)

It was good, but not outstanding — I expected something more impressive given the very high reviews. Having spent time in Vietnam and experienced authentic Vietnamese cuisine at its source, as well as dining in hundreds of Vietnamese restaurants worldwide, my expectations were naturally quite high.

I was very hungry and decided to try this little shop while strolling the city. I went in and snagged a grilled pork banh mi and oolong milk tea. Very yummy!! The banh mi was fresh and balanced. The oolong milk tea was THE ABSOLUTE STAR. It was a type of sweet that reminds me of horchata, not an artificial sweet but more of a refreshing sweet. I had asked the very nice gentleman who worked the cashier if I could refill my water bottle and he had replied with “it’s $10” and I was a little shocked to say the least, but then he hit me with the “Just kidding!!! 😆” and that made me giggle. I enjoy an atmosphere where the staff can josh around with the customers. Very nice place 10/10 would go again! #awesomesauce
