The sandwiches are amazing and flavorful.

i'm Vietnamese and this is one of the BEST spots for traditional banh mi in the city. Ingredients are fresh, banh mi is crispy and flaky goodness when you bite in and great balance in flavors. I wish this was on delivery apps because I would order it every week LOL

This place was so good!! A cute little mom and pop feeling shop. Got the chicken eggroll vermicelli and fresh rolls and oolong tea with less sugar. Everyone so friendly and the food was 10/10. Thank you!

Best Banh Mi sandwiches in the Bay area. Hands down!

I eat here everytime I come to SF cause they never miss 🔥 good portion of meat and veggies, tried the garlic noodles ($8.95) for the first time today and loved those too. No tables to sit at, only counters so it gets pretty crowded inside

Amazing Vietnamese coffee, the perfect blend of coffee and condensed milk!

So far we've only tried grilled pork, but best in SF that we've found. I love cilantro so asked for extra. Very juicy and flavorful! Only a few places to sit and fills up quick around lunch.

Delicious high quality food across the board! They can get quite busy, but it’s worth the wait!

Small Banh mi place on Irving st in the inner Sunset, 7 or 8 stools seating, not much ambiance or atmosphere, to go might be preferable.
For the food, I can only critique what I had.
I ordered the five spice chicken Banh mi and an order of French fries.
For the Banh mi, good, fresh and crispy french bread, filled with shredded carrots, salad, cucumber, jalapeño, mayo and the chicken which I found overcooked and more dark meat than white, as far as the fries, Frozen not fresh, dry and mealy, with a small water bottle came up to less than $18.
Will try something else next time to finalize my review.

The sandwiches are so good and so reasonably priced but I came at 11:50 on a Friday and waited 35 min for 2 sandwiches.

People call ahead and order like 10 things and there seems to only be one or two people in the kitchen so it can get extremely backed up. The really nice gentleman taking orders is very detailed and checks each order which also super slows things down.

Call ahead for your order or come before 11:30, or after 1pm. Otherwise it’s a complete disaster.

The best Banh Mi I’ve found in the city. The pork belly sandwich is absolutely amazing!

Top notch bahn-mi for an unbeatable price. Bread is soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, sandwiches are generously filled with delicious pork and fresh veggies. Place is no frills and seating is limited, so take it to go and eat it in the park.

Friendly service and the food was excellent. My tofu banh mi was packed with fresh vegetables and tasty tofu. Tofu spring rolls and peanut sauce were also delicious.

We got a five spice chicken banh mi and a combo banh mi. The chicken one was tasty, but the combo was too salty and too wet.

It’s not the best banh mi in the city, but it’s convenient to take to the park for a scenic lunch.

if you know Hoang Dat and were bummed when they closed, you can cheer up. a friend led me to this place and it turns out it’s the same guy making sandwiches. got the combo crunch and it was built just like i remember and tastes the same. they’ve got a larger menu now with vermicelli bowls and egg rolls. will be going back to try more later.
