Cheap and fast, literally no frills! Love the cold cut and fish banh mi. The veggies are super fresh and crunchy and the sauce is the perfect amount. Used to come here a lot after yoga across the street, would just go in with my order and sun tan outside while I wait.

I appreciate the obvious goal of authenticity, but gotten tighten up the food. My bahn mi was half soggy, too few jalapeños, and my friend’s vermicelli had no cilantro and the veggies tasted like refrigerator.

I ordered the beef bun and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. I loved that the disposable box was compostable- it made me feel much better. The location was conveniently in Nopa with plenty of parking. Excellent flavors!

This is a great spot for a takeout sandwich before heading up to Alamo Square. Service is quick and the food is very good. I'll be back to try the spring rolls soon.

The sandwiches are great, the price is great, the people behind the counter are friendly enough. The problem is that I’ve been here probably 6 times and 3 of those times they’ve been closed early. They don’t have posted hours on the window so I’m admittedly going off Google. The first time they were closing about 20 minutes early when I arrived. The next time a lady told me they were closing early, about 40 minutes or so, when I arrived. Today I showed up at 3:50, over a full hour early, on a Friday and they were already closed. I want to support them but it’s hard to know when they’re open!

3.5 stars for food. Bumped it up to 4 for great service.Tried the beef Banh mi and enjoyed it, but felt like it was missing something. Perhaps pate. Skip the spring rolls though - it was way too thin and skinny and a bit stale.Having said that, I will come back and try other things. It is nice to have this spot around for a casual day at the park. Heard the vermicelli and coffee is good.Note there is no spot to sit inside and caters for local takeout only.
