Food was good. The menu is pretty short, but provides good variety: burger, fish, salads, etc. We were very surprised to see additional charges on our check. HCSO - Min Wage Surcharge was added at the end. It was unexpected to see extra charges on top of sales tax.
The most surprising thing about this modern bar was not the good, unusual food or the chill ambience, but the warmth of its staff and patrons.I wanted to check their happy hour, and got myself a Manhattan and a Vodka Martini (the two happy hour cocktails) and ordered a... let me double check the spelling... Flammekueche, from Alsace. It's a type of flatbread pizza, apparently.The drinks were okay, a bit on the boozy side but nothing remarkable. The food, however, was amazing....
Ordered their steak. It was a fried skirt steak overcooked. Not impressed by quality of cooking given they charge as if they know how to cook. Fries were good and plenty but who cares, its potatoes, you better get it right. Disappointed.
