We booked the pre-paid Christmas Dinner for 12/15/2025 at 7pm. When we arrived as 6:50pm, we were told that there would be a wait. The restaurant seemed chaotic and we learned that they had a lot of walk-ins whom they seated before people with reservations had arrived. There were others in the same position as we were. We were directed to the bar where we given complimentary water and invited to order a cocktail, which was not comped. The friendly bartender told us this had been going on all evening, and we saw other frustrated people arrive and be given the same message that there would be a wait. When we were were finally seated after waiting 25 minutes, we were asked what we wanted to order! We had made our selections online.... The waiter informed that kitchen was out of several items we had pre-ordered, and they had sold out of the recommended wine choices. The wait staff and manager all seemed confused, frazzled, and didn't seem to care whether patrons were happy or not. Zoe Goldner, our great bartender came over to offer her assistance. She provided tastes of as well as the listed wine choices. and the manager seemed completely oblivious to us. When we finished dining and went to leave, the manager presented us with a bill. He clearly had no idea that it was a prepaid dinner. Very upsetting to see what could be a nice hotel restaurant in total disarray in terms of the staff.

A bar at the InterContinental San Francisco. It’s a U-shaped bar where you can easily chat with the bartender or other guests visiting that day. Various drinks available, and the server (or bartender, I’m not sure what they call it in the US) was very nice. Since the bar is located inside the hotel, you can bill the drinks to your room if you’re a guest, or pay separately. Good place to relax before or after heading out.

Amazing service! All of the wait staff were very kind and made sure that we got out breakfast on time. The coffee was great! In addition to the avocado toast and coffee, we also got the brioche french toast that looked soo good that didnt make it into the pictures :)

Food is very mediocre, not bad but certainly not worth the price. $32 burger was fine but if you want a burger just as good for less than half the price I'd recommend just crossing the street to Tempest

Outstanding server. Very professional and courteous. Though it was a lunch booking, we were not rushed. He made sure we are served with drinks and have needed time to review the menu. Both tomatoes and mushroom soups were yummy. The salad portion was generous too.

Hidden gem inside of a very nice hotel. Popped in to have a quick lunch with my wife. The burger was cooked to her perfection, I had the omelette with potatoes and was really impressed. The service was outstanding! Definitely would recommend and return.

Food was execellent, I had linguinie & clams & my girlfriend had the sole, she was so pleased as was I. Perfect for girls night out and of course service was spot on. We were not rushed and they were attentive.

Always excellent service and food! This hotel is a great place to stay, but the restaurant is also a neighborhood gem! The longtime staff are professional and friendly, and the restaurant shares a kitchen with the excellent Luce, meaning you're likely to get a great meal!
