Cool local hangout in San Francisco's gayborhood, the Castro. Fun spot to grab a drink and munchies while people-watching through the large street level windows. Great staff, full bar, and an energetic vibe.
First let me say, I LOVE the ever so comfortable bar stools.\nServer was really nice, space is spotless and at noon (Friday) when it opened music wasn't ear piercing, more akin to background, which I did enjoy.\nMany items on the menu certainly looked enticing.\nFriend set their site on Fish Tacos, which were HUGE and one needed to eat w/a fork and knife, very messy. Decent serving of Onion Rings, but sadly they were "not hot". Lukewarm food is always my biggest...
This place is a welcome alternative to the very mediocre dark bars in the Castro full of depressing drunks and crappy beer/wine options. One side of the bar is full windows, which gives it a great convivial atmosphere.
