When we arrived at Barbarossa, the bouncer refused to let us enter despite us having valid tickets. No explanation was provided, and the tickets we purchased were effectively ignored.
The interaction was dismissive and unprofessional, and the situation raised serious concerns about discriminatory treatment. We were turned away while others were allowed entry without issue.
Having tickets to an event and then arbitrarily denying entry at the door is unacceptable and misleading to customers. At minimum, this event was not honored as advertised, and the conduct of the door staff was inappropriate. I request that the venue and Eventbrite investigate this event and the venue’s handling of ticketed guests.

Went to this place tonight and was checked by security and handed Identification. The old white guy waited til my friend went in then told me I’d have issues with the dress code. First he said it was my shoes. I have on vans and my friend had on jordans. I pointed to the white guy inside with Nike dunks on and then the security changed it to no sports attire.
The discrimination at this place is wild then I see other reviews of them hosting a republican only event. Lmao that tells me all I need to know.
If you’re a person of color, avoid this place like the plague. Old racist white guy at the door will create reasons not to let you in.

Great beverages, and I love the truffle popcorn. The space is super nice decorated, with good environment. The service is nice and cool.
I really liked the decor and vibes of the place, it's relatively quiet and a good spot to take close knit groups. We got a grog flight, charcuterie board and cheese board to share
