Barley is an amazing venue that truly encapsulates the spirit of community in San Francisco! I rented this space for my 30th birthday and was blown away by how friendly and efficient the service and communications were. The space is lovely, spacious, and comfortable. Doug the bartender is awesome! Thanks Barley for a great experience!

We rented out Barley for a 50th birthday party, and everything about the experience was excellent. The staff go above and beyond to assist, the setting is very inviting, and the food and beverage selections are great! We would definitely host another event here. Cheers!

Should be a beer enthusiasts paradise.Unfortunately when we were there the selection was just a bit bland. They change several taps per week according my to the bartender. Doesn’t use untapped.

Pear wine / cider was really refreshing. Sandwiches are a good size as are the sharing dips and whatnot. They have a large ish table which is good for big groups. Very chill service on a Tuesday night.
Best bar in the area. Incredible beverage selection and delicious bites. Eric is insanely knowledgeable and welcoming. This is our new favorite spot!

I came to Barley with a friend for live music Fridays! Every week from 8-11pm on Fridays, they have a cool lineup of musicians. When we came, it was Soul Jazz and it was so fun. Good food and good vibes!They’re known for their beer, so we got a beer and sour flight. The Belching Beaver Peanut Butter Nitro was amazing. I also got the Amalyese sandwich and I swear I’ve never had Dutch Crunch bread that good.We enjoyed the live performance that night and ended with some fun Sangria Drops! (Sangria bomb). It’s such a cool bar that the owners renovated and built themselves during the pandemic. It’s amazing what they created out of bare bones. You gotta check it out!

Corporate types - step out of your comfort zone and head into the Tenderloin to the great, friendly neighbourhood bar with Trivia on Wednesday and Live Music on Friday. Great salads and sandwiches and craft beer selection.

The coolest bar in San Francisco! My husband and I hosted our pre-wedding party at Barley and we had a blast!!! The venue is beautiful, the food is delicious and their beer selection is great!!! Great location close to downtown San Francisco and local landmarks - Barley is incredible! The owner, Erik and his wife Jessie are the coolest people! They’re super helpful with everything, have so much experience and always the best attitude!! They also host trivia nights on Wednesday and live music on Friday nights - we can’t wait to be back soon!!

Venue staff were super easy to work w/ from initial inquiry to contract refinement to set-up of the physical event itself.
