This is legitimately some of the best fried shrimp I’ve ever had! The spicy pineapple margarita special was also on point!! Amazing. The host and bartender were also very approachable and inviting. All around terrific environment.

First time here. Service was great everyone super friendly and helpful. The Alcatraz view is just gorgeous specially if you’re there when the sun is going down. The food was okay… nothing to write home about. A bit on the pricey side because.. come on it’s SF and this prime location $20 for 2 tacos with a little bit of rice and beans. Spicy salsa was good. No pics this time sorry!

Went here for dinner. The view was nice and the decorations look good and bright, but the atmosphere inside is very loud and the tables are very close together. The chips and salsa were lame. Nothing like traditional salsa when you think of a Mexican restaurant. The yuca fritas tasted alright but the sauce had no flavor. In other words, don't come here for the appetizers. The main entrees are where the flavor is at. We got the Halibut tacos and the slaw was really good. My wife got the birria tacos and they were really good. The side rice and beans that you get with the entrees are not flavorful. If I was given the option to come back here, I wouldn't.

The service and atmosphere are great, the food is boxed rice, not fresh, the fish tacos have no flavor, nor do the beans, it's a shame such an excellent location and such a nice place with food that is inedible, I feel like I wasted my money.

The food is good but the service sucks, we waited a long time before someone came to the table, our water cups were empty for a while and they brought chips and salsa with our food even when we asked for it in advance.
Food was mediocre at best, overpriced, service was poor maybe they forgot about us? But bus boy was rude. Probably will not be returning, they only have a good view going for them.
