I had a great time here. Staff were amazing. I had the ghost casket draft and Yucatan roasted pork and I have no regrets.

Basic Gin and Tonic was $15USD. $13 for one shot of London Dry Gin, + $2 for the tonic. Place is a definite tourist trap and I won't be returning. The food is the real reason I'm giving a 1 star review though. Had the Halibut fish tacos, and the fish was definitely bad in retrospect. Felt horrible by the time I was finished, was throwing up in the street 5 mins after I left. Can't deny the view is nice, but the prices and quality of the food are just not worth it, much better options in the area.

Please note that I almost never leave reviews, unless an experience was exceptional or terrible. Barrio was terrible. This is a tourist trap through and through. You’ll spend at least $100 on bland food. I truly could’ve made better at home. Our server was (literally) the worst I’ve ever had. You’re paying for a nice view. Save yourself money and find a real Mexican joint somewhere in this city.

The food was, unsurprisingly, not very good. They only had one vegetarian protein and it was soy chorizo. I asked if I could have sweet potatoes and the server was pretty rude. The view was nice but everything else was underwhelming. Don’t plan to return!!

I'm from Toronto and I loved my experience at Barrio! Mikey is fantastic! His personal touch and explanation of our tequila flight was exemplary. He introduced us to tequila that are better than anything we've tasted before (and we've tasted alot) The blue shell tacos and nachos were fantastic. We looking forward to coming back here next time we in San Fran.

Location is amazing. Overlooking the bay with the tall ships, swimmers, and park users to watch while you wait for your meal. Service was quick. Food was alright. We had some queso and two taco platters. Ask for the hot sauces, you get three of them (habanero and then two mild ones) and some crema. I think the rice was a little pilaf-y, so not the best rice, but it was flavorful, just not the texture I am use to with Spanish rice.

Ok, so to be fair, we didn't order any food. We only popped in to get out of the rain and have a quick drink at the bar! But all the food that walked past us looked so fresh and super delicious! I'm not kidding when I say that I'm totally dreaming about the day I get to go back! The view is spectacular and it's so clean and crisp feeling! Our bartender was really great, and he actually makes the chili drink rim spices in-house himself. It's such a perfect blend of spices and a thousand times better than Tajin. Beautiful drinks were constantly being made in feint of us, which made me regret my choice of just having a draft. Next time, I'm getting a hibiscus margarita and some tacos!!!

My husband, his friend, and I were pleasantly surprised with how lovely this restaurant is. The food was all fresh and tasty, and we were seated right by the windows with a good view of Alcatraz! Our waiters were professional and gave the friend some honest, helpful recommendations. On top of that, their all-gender bathrooms were well maintained. I highly recommend this for an affordable bite inside Ghirardelli Square with a scenic view.

Visiting SF and was looking forward to a great view and some tacos. The hostess was extremely rude as we approached her for a table. She told us only outside was available, which was fine, but the inside was completely empty. She made us feel like a burden to her from the moment we got there. Additionally, we sat down to order and the waitress dropped off waters and left. We didn't see her for 20 minutes, and then she finally told us to order inside. She was short and did not take any time to explain their menu/ordering situation. We ended up leaving because we were looking for something more full service and were not willing to be patient with the employees attitudes. Hopefully this comment can help to make this restaurant a more pleasant experience for guests, as the view is beautiful.

5 stars! My family & I stopped by there this pass weekend celebrating my mother being cancer free. The host Elisa was wonderful from the start. She was so kind. She gave us what I believe was the best seat in the house. The view was magnificent! It's a must see. The food & drinks were quite delicious. The atmosphere was inviting. Our server was very attentive. My family enjoyed our time there. On our way out we made sure to thank our host again. We will be coming back.
