The staff was wonderful. They were able to shift our reservation indoors which was awesome. The food and service was excellent. The prices were reasonable. The place got very loud and it was difficult to hear conversation across the table at times. Still, it's a great place. I've been there numerous times and recommend Base Camp to friends all the time.
Excellent food, wonderful staff, easily one of the best restaurants and one of my top choices in SF. Great menu if you want to go vegetarian, but also great for meat eaters. We benefitted from being a larger group and ordered as much as we could family style. And if you haven't tried the shapta, do so ASAP! Thank you Base Camp!
Only bad part of the dinner was we were in a tiny cramped table against the wall right by the front door and cash register and the server had to stand so close to me by the register I could smell their BO which was a lot while eating. Otherwise food was good and they had a lot of gluten free options. They were very mindful of food preferences and allergies.
