sad to see a small business attacking another small women owned business over the word "batter" which is literally the foundation of baking. not to mention, this bakery is halfway across the country and does not have an overlap in customers whatsoever. in a time that we should be uplifting and supporting each other this is extremely distasteful.
The owner is on a weird power trip and harassing a small, one woman-owned bakery in Milwauke. Why? Because she also has the word Batter in her name. Smells like insecurity to me because if you compare the two bakeries…..well there’s no comparison. So I guess to make herself feel more important, Jen is being a bully to BatterMke. How lame and sad, just like her scones.
A little confused why this bakery would think it’s okay to serve a small, one person bakery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin a cease and desist to discontinue the use of their name “Batter MKE”. Wondering if this bakery will continue to serve the same to EVERY business with the word “batter” in their business name? That’s like Pizza Hut going after Dominos and Toppers for using the word “pizza” in their business name….?

Small cylindrical kiosk bakery with an array of baked goods. Good location but can be a bit windy.
I would have given 4 stars if it weren't for the small piece of hair I saw stuck to the bottom of the cupcake. At the prices they charge, I expect the food to be clean at least. Very disappointing, because I really like their scones, which come in a variety of flavors and taste great. The shortbreads are a bit hard for my taste, but nevertheless delicious. Even if you don't find any hair on the cupcakes, I still wouldn't recommend them. They're stored in individual boxes; that means, they're less fresh. And indeed, they are very dry. Don't think I want to visit again.
Earlier today I bought a cranberry-citrus scone here that was delicious & a nice kiosk person too.
This place is tiny and weird and definitely overpriced - but the cookies are delicious, so treat yourself!
Convenient location if you work in FiDi, fresh baked goods everyday! I love the Lavender Sea Salt mini shortbread cookies!!!! Their bakery is in Russian Hill (Polk St), but I work right across the street from their kiosk.Tip: take a look at the chalk A-board outside for special items they have that day! I almost walked by the other day till I stopped after seeing the Banana Nutella muffin! The girl said they don't have it available everyday :D I also get the mint chocolate cookie when they have it too.
