They were getting ready to close down for good and just didn't care. Steak wrong temp, out of things, waiter didn't bring plates for appetizers, no steak knife with a steak, rushed. It was a terrible experience from somewhere that we've always liked when in town for a play.

I am SO SAD that this location is closing, along with the Nordstrom store in downtown SF. I understand from our server that he will be moving to the San Mateo location (not as a server, but happy Nordstrom is keeping him in the family). Despite the imminent closure, everyone was cheerful, the food and atmosphere was great, and we really enjoyed it. I don't know if there is a Bazille in San Mateo, but if so, I would hope it's as good.

Have been eating at Bazille SF for decades (since the days of the Champagne Exchange) . Food and service is always good. Typically order the salmon Nisciose salad. As a final farewell and last hurrah, friends and I returned for ‘the last supper' at Bazille. Waitstaff (Syd) was excellent. The salads however had frisée lettuce in them which is atypical . frisée lettuce is ostensibly inedible so that was a weird disappointment for the last Bazille meal in SF . We are saddened that this place is closing, along with Nordstrom which is an indelible loss for downtown SF. It's another casualty in the demise of a once-great and sparkling city. In the meantime, there's always Bazille in Corte Madera.

Food was wonderful. Desserts were good too. Service was great and so was the view of buildings. Got charged for 2 birthday desserts, when we would have only wanted one. It was a little odd. But other than that, it was a nice lunch.

Overall it's good. I just wished they did the food the same way every time. I come here often and it's always something added or not cooked the way it was the time before. One day the Brussel sprouts were nice and toasty with chicken sausage and the next day their barely steamed with jalapeños and banana peppers. Same with the other items I ordered. It's a hit or miss lately.

I wanted to go for lunch/afternoon cake here, but since no waiter wanted to come up to me to take my order, I left after 15 minutes. The waiters where just standing around and ignoring me. Furthermore it was really hard finding something vegetarian or sweet on the menu, they dont have any desserts on the regular menu. In general the atmosphere was not really welcoming.

Our server, Ashley, was friendly and efficient. We had a nice table by the window. Good food. Reservation was honored. We are sorry this location is closing. This has been our go-to lunch spot for ACT plays and we will miss it.

It will be sad to see this place go very soon as that nordstrom will be shutting down permanently. The restaurant is a very quiet top floor restaurant with perfect view of San Francisco. This is the best place to go if you are meeting arrest from shopping

Outing: Mother's DayFood: Unfortunately, the food was subpar, at best. We all ordered quite a lot from the menu and each dish was absolutely void of taste and flavor.Service: The waiter that we had did but seem very interested in our table or any other table for that matter. We felt as though they did not want to be there at all. Even if they had a bad day, it's no excuse for poor customer service especially, on Mother's Day.Price: For the extremely high price that we paid, $$$$ we expected decent food and service.Overall: Terrible overall experience on a day that was supposed to celebrate mothers.

If you're looking for a hidden gem in the San Francisco area, look no further than Bazille! From the moment you walk in, you'll be greeted by the warm and welcoming staff, who are always ready to help you with anything you need. But let's talk about the food. Oh, the food! Bazille serves up some of the most delicious meals I've ever tasted. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty salad or a juicy steak, they've got you covered. The ingredients are always fresh, and the chefs clearly know their way around a kitchen. One of the best things about Bazille, though, has to be the amazing view. The restaurant is situated in a beautiful location with a panoramic view of the city. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the decor is modern and tasteful. But don't be fooled by the restaurant's seemingly fancy exterior – Bazille is a hidden gem that won't break the bank. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality of the food and service. In short, Bazille is a must-visit for anyone in the area. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner with your significant other or a fun night out with friends, you won't be disappointed. With its delicious food, welcoming staff, amazing view, and affordable prices, Bazille truly has it all!

It was another pleasant pre-theater brunch at Bazille. Each of us enjoyed our meal (tacos, cauliflower salad, fritatta) and we split an ice cream sundae for dessert. Our view of the cable cars on Powell Street, plus the lovely warm sunny day, made the experience even better. We were able to be served by our favorite server, Rollie, who is warm and friendly and efficient. We'll be back!

We again enjoyed excellent service from John, who has been our server several times before. He recommended one of the daily specials which turned out to be quite good. New additions to the menu are also very good. We like the customizable salads with new ingredients and the opportunity to add a protein of choice. The possibilities are many! Our reservation was honored, even though BART delays made us 15 minutes late. All in all a very nice lunch experience, and we'll be back for our next ACT matinee in June.

I had this Shrimp Scampi Pizza that was to die for, never had anything like it, it was so good!I recommend getting a cocktail they are delightful, plus I had excellent service by this new tall guy with a shaved head.

What an unpleasant experience. The service was awful, although our server was nice. My wine glass was dirty. The server had his finger in my daughter's plate/food. We got seated by the kitchen, literally across from the garbage container. I WII NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. SIMPLY AWFUL!
