I pass by on my commute daily so been wanting to try this place out. The food is good and most of the servings are just right for the price. Except for maybe the Mongolian beef which I think the onion to beef ratio is way too off balance. The shrimp fried rice was a bit bland but the chow mein made up for it. The salt and pepper pork was spot on tho I think would've been better if there was a sauce to dip in. Overall, I'd come back.

I really like this place. It’s one of the better/best Chinese restaurants in the area that I know of. There’s a good variety of dishes that expand outside of the usual southern Chinese palate that tends to be found in the US.

I recommend getting the eggs and tomatoes noodles, the beef pancake, the dough ball stir fry dishes, the chicken fried rice, the garlic pea sprouts and the eggplant.

And I’m sure many of the other dishes are good too, I just haven’t had a chance to get around to ordering them yet.

Beijing Restaurant delivers a truly satisfying Chinese dining experience! 🥢🔥 Their Kong Bao Chicken is splendid—perfectly balanced with heat, sweetness, and crunch, despite the oil is bit too much 🐔🌶️ The beef is tender and flavorful, while the eggplant is silky and rich, soaking up all the delicious sauce. 🥩🍆 Every dish is thoughtfully prepared and bursting with authentic flavor. A must-try for lovers of classic Beijing-style cuisine!

Really enjoy their soups, Rice Plates and the large menu full of so many options. We like to try new things every time we go in and so far everything has been delicious, the portions are a good sizes too. The service has been sufficient every time and our food was made quickly and it was super satisfying! We always have extra to take home.

This restaurant has gone downhill after the change in ownership. Beijing Restaurant used to be my favorite spot for authentic northern Chinese food in SF. It was the go-to place for classic northern dishes. However, under the new ownership, it’s become just another below-average Cantonese restaurant. The fact that they’re still pretending to be the original Beijing Restaurant is shocking. They clearly don’t know what they’re doing in the kitchen, even though they’re using the old menu.

For example, the dish I ordered was supposed to have three types of meat, but what I received only had two—and one of them wasn’t even correct, based on the menu description. On top of that, they’ve hung up photos of traditional northern Chinese dishes to attract (or deceive) new customers. But what’s the point when they can’t deliver on the food? It’s a total scam.

Nice Restaurant but the only problem is the Chinese man wearing glasses. He is very rude and delivers no customer service at all. And he is very rude. He gave me a pen to borrow but snatched it out of my hand once I was done. he was very mean and rude that's why I recommend going on Mondays when theres a nice lady there. Anyways thank you but not to that disrespectful man.

Their food is spam. The food is not same with the picture. They just use fake name to food and attempt people to order. They are a Cantonese fast food restaurant with fake non-Cantonese food. To Chinese people, this restaurant's food It has nothing to do with Beijing Half Cent. The Di San Xian is made of tomatoes and green beans, without green peppers, and it’s still raw. You can’t even bite the potatoes. Xiao Long Bao is not Xiao Long Bao, it’s just called Xiao Long Bao.

Don't waste your money there . The soup has no flavor and they wouldn't to exchange my soup . What a waste of time . Folks don't bring your family or girlfriend . The attitude there is cold and silence . I didn't get extra napkins. I wish luck at this restaurant.

Such a hidden gem. The food here was delicious and really transported us back to China! They have a wide variety of dishes and everything we ordered was really good. It’s also super affordable! Highly recommend the sauteed beef and onions.
