Light and airy restaurant with excellent plant-based meals. Excellent staff. Moderate prices for the Marina neighborhood.

Everything I have ordered at Wildseed has been tasty. I really like their pizza and also the Mombasa bowl. I like the yummy flavors along with the healthiness. Service from Hunter was amazing and the ambiance is very comfy and attractive.

Great location Really nice waiter, and excellent food. The menu changes frequently, so there are always so many good things to choose from.

We were a little early and less people than we reserved but we got seated no problem. The food was served in a timely manner and absolutely delicious. Our server was great.

This was overall a top shelf experience. Restaurant is in a cool part of the City, great energy in the restaurant. Service was attentive. The food was amazing.

So happy I came here. I got the tomato and pepper bisque as well as the fall pizza with brussels sprouts Tempe and pears. It was phenomenal! I’m not sure what some people are referring to as some dishes being hit or miss especially for the price because even though I only had two things they were both Five star. Excellent! I would definitely come back here and try multiple other things on the menu. sadly I’m only visiting, but if I lived here, I would be back here pretty often!

The staff was very attentive. We got there for happy hour and had our purple gin & tonic. The bartender let me taste the red wine before I ordered it 👍 Food was very good but definitely on the more pricy side. Overall we had a great time

Hi, There isn’t really anything specific to “reach out about”, but since they asked - I wanted to share the full context of our experience. This was meant to be our getaway brunch. We drove all the way from Los Angeles and were excited to enjoy some local vegan spots in San Francisco. We asked to be seated outside because we had our dog with us, and were told the wait would be 30 minutes.

We waited the full 30 minutes, but during that time at least four tables opened up. Each time I tried to get the attention of the host or staff, no one acknowledged us or called us. In total, we waited almost 50 minutes to be seated even though tables were available.

Once seated, our server didn’t come by for quite a while. When our order was finally taken, our beer was forgotten and only arrived long after our food. I also asked for an extra napkin because mine fell on the ground and the request was forgotten as well, and since we were outside, it was impossible to get anyone’s attention. I had to ask a second time and still waited another 10 minutes with greasy hands and mouth.

When we finished, the waitress actually chucked the check onto the table, which felt extremely rude and unprofessional.

The food was OK but nothing really special, very basic for the price.

On top of all this, I noticed a line on the receipt charging customers for “employer benefits” or something which sound similar to this. This is unacceptable as well - employee benefits should be covered by the business, not added as an extra fee for guests. We tip for great service, not to subsidize basic employer obligations which should go from operations income.

Overall, this was a terrible experience from start to finish. I’ve been vegan for many years and was genuinely looking forward to visiting, but after this, I will not be coming back to any of your locations.

Ended up coming here two days in row. Nice space and good lineup of plates. Fried mushroom is my favorite.

Not bad, but overall not too impressive. Specifically, I found some items to be underwhelming and the price pretty high for the dishes. Updated from previous review on 2025-11-10

We went twice to Wildseed at our recent trip to San Francisco. We were excited about it being a vegetarian restaurant, and they had a very fun happy hour menu. We recommend!

Best meal I’ve had in a restaurant in years! Loved the mezze plate, fritters, skewer, ravioli and chocolate cake dessert. Prompt service. Nice decor. Buzzing atmosphere. 1000% recommend!
