I showed up and it is close to the public for a private event. The website currently says there’s blues music tonight. The least you could do is update your website so people don’t journey out to find it’s closed.

Biscuits & Blues has been around for THIRTY years in Union Square. It's well-known as a Blues venue, and you have the chance of seeing some amazing artists come through.

The restaurant is underground and lit up with a bright blue bar. The space is intimate, and the acts sometime walk right up to you. I always love a good dinner and entertainment venue in one.

The food was great. We had ceviche, gumbo, and of course, BISCUITS. They were so flaky and delicious, especially slathered with the accompanying honey butter. I was also surprised to see they had a wide cocktail and NA selection. Service was very attentive - there is a two-drink minimum after all. Great place for a date night!

The music is always exceptional. Great atmosphere and very friendly service but the food is horrible. Been there 3 times recently and all three meals were terrible. Better to eat elsewhere and see the late show

The guitarist was dope! The biscuits were extra medium at best. Ambiance was nice. Cool spot overall!

This may of been the place to go 20 years ago. But not now. Midweek entertainment was terrible. Watered down drinks, flat post mix sodas. Food was far from southern hospitality. This place is run by penny pinching hosts. Go somewhere else.

This was a treat - yes, the food is good - I had jambalaya and my husband had fried chicken. Wednesday shared a side of very good biscuits. But the real treat is the entertainment which on Wednesday night started at 6:30 - Al Kane, I think his name is - guitarist, singer (think Nat King Cole) and absolutely wonderful entertainer! We will be back!

The food was good. Is was served at room temperature. Would have been better if it was hot. Entertainment was great. Had a fun time.

The hostess was extremely rude upon arrival. Everything else was great! We didn't eat food, so you should put a "NA" column on your rating.

Me and my boyfriend saw this place while walking down the street and decided to give it a try. We didn’t know we needed a reservation but we were welcomed in just in time to eat before the show. The food was amazing and the vibes were immaculate, the staff were really nice and my boyfriend absolutely loved the jambalaya and the biscuits. We will definitely come back again if we get the chance. It was truly an experience. I wish we were able to stay a bit longer but we had other places we wanted to hit that day

We came before we went to a play in the city, so it was early. We really enjoyed our meal and drinks. It was too early for music but I loved the ambiance and definitley want to come back and enjoy the music.

Super cool spot. It feels like it's back in the day and you are in a secret night club. And the biscuits are amazing!

Thought we were making dinner reservations - it was to buy tickets for the blues show. We like jazz, so it was ok. Be sure to check when the music sets begin. Our reservations were for 7, the show started at 630 and ended at 740. The next show started at 9, and you had to buy another ticket if you stayed. There is a 2-drink minimum. A card is required to hold your reservation and there is no cancellation. None of this information was on OpenTable.

Food was excellent and great service staff. I loved the new look, everything is brand new!! This is the place to come and listen to some nice jazz or blues any night of the week.
