Tasty french food in the heart of the city. Get the steak with frites!

This place was wonderful. I'm sad to hear that it is gone now. What can I say about it? What do you care if I write a review or not? Well, here it goes. They had great eggs, and bottomless bloody marys. I was up in the balcony area, enjoying the view. They waitress kept giving us more bloody marys, even when we didn't ask. It was a good time.

Whenever I pass by now, I take a moment of silence to remember the times I cannot remember at Bisou. But highlights: many birthdays, slipping down the stairs, affirmative clapping and cheering for those who use the upstairs restroom while we sat next to the door, leaving phone chargers, and big hugs from Nic. I'll miss you, Bisou. Thanks for the memories.

$15 BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS STILL EXIST IN SF?! SOLD!!!!! Went here for brunch with a couple of girlfriends a few weekends ago. Food was AMAZING, mimosas never stopped arriving to the table. I was beyond satisfied! Not only are they known for their awesome mimosa deal, but their benedicts! Omg. Delicious!!!! I will definitely be coming back!

I came here on Easter morning having found them as one of the only places on Yelp in Sf that still had reservations. Let me get to the two things that matter: food and alcohol. The food of the day was an assortment of Benedict's. My bf and I got the chorizo and the duck Benedict's. The food was alright I cannot complain at all. Nothing too crazy, but good nonetheless. Let me get to the more important factor though- BOOZE CITY. We got the bottomless mimosas (it is brunch after all). Let me tell you they are stronngggggggg. They bring full bottles to the table and honestly we thought there wasn't enough orange juice. If that's your only issue with brunch then you are living it large. These mimosas were champagne central and amazing reason to come in. The servers were nice and there was even a drag show on our way out. Great way to start Easter Day in the Castro before heading off to the hunky Jesus contest in golden gate park. Come for the mimosas everyone!!!!

The staff were very friendly and the mimosas were...bottomless. But, the food was mediocre at best. I ordered the crab Benedict. There was hardly any hollandaise and the eggs were soft-boiled with hard yolks. Not terrible, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Nice place, good music, good vibe. I ordered Benedict eggs with crab and my friend with duck. Duck was delicious!! For a drink we asked for mimosa and we got bloody mary which was not that good. That's the only reason I give 4 stars. Service good, price average. Would come back again

Awesome/friendly service, delicious food, a cool vibe, and who can deny the power of bottomless mimosas?!? I love this place, and will come here whenever I'm looking for a fun boozy brunch. The eggs Benedict with scallops was to die for, and the baguette French toast was rich and amazing. I can't recommend this place more!

If you're looking for a boozy brunch then this is the place to be. Bachelorette weekend? Look no further. That being said, I just wasn't at that level when I came to dine here the other morning. Being sober was my problem. It was so loud! Or maybe I'm just too old... I ordered the omelette but it came out cold and I felt bad asking to reheat. I really have no complaints about the customer service. They were kind and attentive. Maybe when I feel adventurous I'll come back for the bottomless mimosas.

Came to Bisou Bistronomy last night. I ordered the scallops and wine. The scallops were hands down the worst I've ever had! And the stuff they put in between each scallop tastes like what dirty feet smell like.... if that makes sense. Also the bread was tasteless. Wine was good though. This place will probably go out of business very soon.

I don't usually venture out to the Castro for brunch, but glad the boyfriend picked this place out. Of course he knew we had to opt for the bottomless mimosas ($15 each). What I love the most about this spot is that their mimosas is basically 95% champagne and 5% orange juice. Heck yes to strongass mimosas! They also serve it to you in a champagne bottle --very neat. We were seated upstairs in the balcony that overlooks the bar and diners below. I liked the ambiance very much too. As for the food, we shared the Bison Burger ($16) plus a fried egg ($2), the Dungeness Crab Slider ($12), and a side of scrambled eggs and cheese. Unfortunately, the food fell short despite their awesome mimosas. The burger looked way better than it actually tasted, but good and hefty nonetheless. As for the crab slider, we were expecting a simple crab cake so tossed out the buns on that dish. I hate to say it, but the fries were the best part of the meal. Either way, the bottomless mimosas are solid and would still come back for just that!

I was searching for a place to have bottomless mimosas and discovered this little gem. The menu looked amazing and it's in the Castro district - which is always fun!!! It was just me & I got there right when they opened. I immediately was able to sit at the bar. It did fill up pretty quickly, so I would get a reservation. They handed me a bottle of champagne and I watched them fill with fresh orange juice. Angels were singing folks! For breakfast I had Crêpe Complète. House made traditional crêpe, ham, gruyère, fried egg, served with mix greens salad. I can't even explain how amazing this dish was! So savory and flavorful - the potatoes were seasoned perfectly and I wanted to drink whatever dressing they had on the green salad. I will definitely come back here again!

What a disappointment !!! Not for the food but for the customer experience. First of all, we've got a bottle of French wine and when my husband tried it, he didn't like it and me neither. The owner (well not sure he is) tried to make us feel bad for not liking it. Well guess what Monsieur; Everyone's taste is different! Second, he tried to sell us hard a Magnum of wine. We weren't thirsty enough to get a Magnum and it seems that it bothered him. Third, when he took away our plates, he kept piling up everything and ask our friend to give him his silverware while he already had a big pile of stuff, our friend wasn't really convinced it was good idea and indeed IT WASN'T. Off course, it fell and I was the lucky one to get splashed with the onion and wine sauce from head to toes. Do you think he would have apologized for it? Off course not, he had to blame it on our friend! Didn't even offer to pay for the dry cleaner. And last, we just couldn't wait to leave but the bill took forever to come. As a French myself, I am embarrassed that this guy represents our culture in a so called "Gastronomy" restaurant. Won't never come back!

Bisou used to be a beautiful, nice French dining experience. Perfect for dates. We went for Sunday brunch recently. Our ears bled from the aggressively loud DJ. The music is good but would be too loud at half the volume. Conversation was not possible. Even the waiter could not hear us. They got our order wrong. Then our food arrived cold. And incomplete. We asked for corrections but they didn't arrive until after we were finished. Sadly it's now devolved into a pretty trashy basic scene. Maybe it's the bottomless mimosas. People come for the cheap day drunk. If that's your crowd.

I've visited twice. First time, four stars. Would've been five, but one of the dishes was a miss (I had the foie gras tasting menu). Was nice and quiet and excellent service. Second time, three stars...was cut in line (by someone who was with no one and had no one else in his party), and the host served that person ahead of me. Very rude, on both parts. Additionally, they only have one single occupancy bathroom operating for Sunday brunch, and it isn't kept the cleanest. The server was still excellent and the food was fine.
