There were six of us. We were visiting from Chicago. Who was delicious, waitress was nice, the view was good. We sat by window on the second floor. I accidentally left my Chicago White Sox cap there at the restaurant. I called the next day, and they had it waiting for me. My son and his girlfriend picked it up for me.

Nice place and a way to enjoy Boudin without the hustle and bustle. Had a nice bottle of wine with a decent view and calmed us down from all the go go go.

The food was okay. Salad tasted like a salad kit from the store, soup was limited in the bread bowl, and the steak I ordered was not cooked the way I ordered. Our waiter was at many times no where to be found. I was a bit shocked that the restaurant allowed a patron to bring in their pet and have the pet be in the aisle, on the chair, and have food on the floor. They did go out of their way to bring my sister a birthday dessert. The view from our window was very lovely but we will not be returning next time we are in town.

Great starters, pizza, fish and chips and burger! A hidden gem for both tourists and locals. Warm, smiling servers.

We had reservations and arrived early. We were sat right away at a nice big round table overlooking the water. Jose our server was knowledgeable and stayed on top of things. Excellent service and food!!

Our party of6 was seatd promptly in the very back room with great views of the Bay and Alcatraz. The guests in this area had our own waitress and bus person who were great. We ordered a variety of seafood selections and all were delivered at the same time, hot and delicious. The two kids in our party ordered from the children's menu and had excellent pizzas that were surprisingly large. And the bottomless sourdough breadbasket was outstanding! Wonderful time for sure!

I was pleasantly surprised by Bistro Boudin. I really thought the food would be mediocre, just capitalizing on the historical nature of the business - much like many of the restaurants along Fisherman's Wharf. However, I found the food fresh, for the most part local/regional, and very good. Even if it wasn't attached to such an historic (and important) name in American cuisine, it would be a very good restaurant. And when you leave, be sure to check out the room across the hall with several plaques and pictures telling the story of the Boudin family and the history of sourdough bread in the Bay Area.

We had dinner with friends Saturday night. We were able to get a reservation easily and a lovely table with view of the bay. We each ordered seafood from the menu and everyone was very pleased with what they had variety. Our favorite part is the fresh sourdough they set on your table as soon as you're seated. The restaurant is perfect place to bring out-of-towners.

The oysters on the half shell and beef stew were great. However, my fillet was ordered medium and it came almost rare. It also was very tough. Did not seem to be a fillet. When we had coffee, the cream was bad. They didn't have any more so they brought us some streamed milk - not the same.

We ate there twice in 4 days. Flawless both times, prices reasonable, view fantastic, would recommend and plan to visit again.

Great service. Beautiful view of the bay. Parties of 7+ sit on the Jefferson St side long tables or counter height. Corkage fee is $30 so we just bought a bottle. Kids love the bread and pastas. Crab, surf & turf our usual. Our favorite restaurant. Especially when our Costco sells gift cards.

A reliable, great restaurant to eat. The only issue this time was a cold top on the bread bowl, but overall this was minor since it still tasted great. Service and food was otherwise fantastic.

We ate here on a previous visit to San Francisco and so were looking forward to dining here again but were disappointed. The ambience wasn't as good and we felt overdressed compared to other guests who were dining in much more casual attire even though this was an evening booking. Service from our waiter was polite although other staff that brought meals to our table ignored our request for more cutlery and we had to help ourselves from an empty table next to us. Food was excellent though and portion size was good. Not sure if we would visit a third time though.
