Delicious Baklava. I liked the various options and of course, the friendly service is always nice.

Their baklava is the bomb! I should have ordered more of the traditional ones but wanted to try different flavors all good but the traditional one (I usually don't like walnuts) is amazing. The restaurant has been there for decades but due to CoVid only opens Sat. Looking forward to eating at the restaurant and enjoying some belly dancer entertainment.

The baklava is so delicious! The best I've tasted. My first time going to dinner on Saturday night (live music and belly dancing) and it was fantastic. The musicians played for an hour or so; belly dancing for about 20 minutes. Ambiance is very intimate and fun. Decor transports one to Egypt. Food took a while to arrive but was yummy. Service is fantastic. Would definitely recommend the experience!

Absolutely best baklava I've ever had! Super flaky, airy, crispy and not too sweet at all. So many amazing and unique flavors to choose from. The chocolate walnut is a must try! The owner is also so friendly and helped explain all of the options. Also, they are such a good price for how big they are!

Excellent baklava and portion size is great. There are also many flavor choices. One of the best places to buy baklava.

Large variations of baklavas but they are too sweet and heavy. One piece could be shared by 2 easily.

I discovered this neighborhood treasure back in May of this year. The baklava is excellent and you have a variety to choose from. I also the size of the baklava is perfect....not too small like I have had elsewhere. The business owner is a real nice lady.

What a treat! such tasty baklava, I’m glad I wandered by this place and went in. I’ve never seen so many flavors to choose from. And they were all incredible!!

I was able to impress my friends during our little reunion with sweets from this shop ! You can tell each baklava was freshly made and beautifully layered with yummy goodness. They were not overwhelmingly sticky, but chewy, flaky, distinct and totally Bitchin !! I highly recommend !!The owner, Susan, is also the sweetest and truly made my day.

Wow. I just came across this hidden gem way out on Balboa Street.I was searching for a good cup of coffee in a locally owned (not a chain) business. Bitchin' Baklava came up at the top of the list with 5 stars, so I wanted to check it out.First, the coffee was really good. Egyptian style is strong, with the grounds in the cup, so sip it slowly. Now, I must tell you about the place. It's the same location as Al Masri, s.yelp.com/CWA35kOjqm, which is only open one night a week (Saturdays) for dinner and belly dancing. It's out on Balboa, between 41st & 42nd, and during the daytime, you wouldn't know that Saturday nights have such entertainment out there. There is plenty of free street parking in this neighborhood too.Al Masri is only open one night a week. The rest of the week, the woman running the place opens a take-out counter for Bitchin' Baklava. You can grab a single piece for $3 (worth it!), already a reasonable price, or buy in quantity and get a discount. Like 8 for $20. Once you taste it, you'll want to take home a dozen. I won't get into the variety. You can see that on the website. Lots of choices, and each is sweet and delicious. Check it out and write your own review. Tell me I'm right about this. I know you'll love it.

A chorus of angels...lightly crispy and not sticky, sweetly scented with rose and orange water...that is the baklava here! Not just "traditional" walnut but several other subtle and delicious flavors including cashew, hazelnut, and chocolate. Such a darling lady making and serving the treats. I can't wait to get back a try more baklava and the single serving pies! If the pies are as buttery delicious as the baklava, I will never leave.

Life-changing baklava from a unique neighborhood business. It will ruin you for mass-produced baklava forever! Do not sleep on this one, folks.

Nah. This baklava was not it. Tasted like perfume and cinnamon. Would not come here again.
