Great speakeasy vibe. Service was excellent. Conscientious about getting us out in time for our show. Presentation, value and taste of food was excellent. Location was fun with access on a small sidestreet; it felt secretive. Elegant and welcoming entering to Soaring ceilings, beautiful bar, old architecture. It was a step back in time. Live piano. Perfect for our celebration for six friends. We had a corner booth on the upper level open to the first level with wide staircase....
Celebrated our daughter's birthday here at her request and Bix did not disappoint. A bit concerned upon arrival as our table was not ready and quite difficult to get drinks at crowded bar, but concerns evaporated once cocktails in hand; very few bars can make a proper whiskey sour, Bix is one of them along with an excellent dirty martini. Once seated at a very comfortable round table for six, our server brought potato pillows which were delicious. Service was good and food...
Bix is one of our favorite places we go here a lot for anniversaries or when friends are visiting. And I felt like last night, all the food that we got, including the soul fish and the appetizers, were amazing. The band was super great. Definitely recommend if you want a nicer night out.
