Where they charge $8 for a beer can.. very dirty, sooo soo small. and the bartender shush me because they wanted to watch a video on their tv?.. you can literally walk to the liquor store in the corner and buy that beer can for like $3 instead $8 for a beer can out of an iced bathtub.

We have been travelling throughout Europe & the USA for over 5 weeks and I can say that this establishment was the highlight of our travels. The governor of this establishment 'James' truly welcomed us lonely Australian's with open arms. This isn't your usual pub, it's a haven for locals and strangers to feel at home, a place to escape from everything. Don't hesitate to walk into this very quaint piece of heaven and feel at home. A must visit. The smallest bar west of the Mississippi. Run by james. He is the king. The bar is a porcelain clawfoot bathtub full of ice. He will make friends and have a great conversation.

By far the best bar I have been too in SF. I have lived here for almost a decade and I can proudly say that the service, people you meet and atmosphere is the peak.
We had an unbelievably good experience while having some drinks there. The place has a unique charm the drinks are nice and cold but the main point is the people you find there. Since we are not from the country I was a little bit afraid to go there and probably engage in conversation but thanks we did. As soon as we arrived people were very welcoming and interested so we had a real fun San Francisco experience I believe.
Let me thank you for James the owner and Mr John Waymo (I hope you will read this) for their kind hospitality and mentality, you guys really made our whole trip amazing.
If you read this and hesitate to try it or not. Just go. Don’t think a second more.
