Parking is a nightmare at this Blue Bottle location. If you’re not familiar with the area, it's very tricky to navigate because of all the 'No Right Turn' signs. It’s really not a car-friendly spot unless you're a local; visitors will likely end up driving in circles. I was also a bit disappointed that they only had two bean options for pour-over. Plus, it's my first time encountering a Blue Bottle that doesn't serve any pastries or food—this location strictly sells coffee only

The manager of this store made the best cappuccino. It's so good that it lifts my day.

Closed half the time on main weekdays, timings on Google Maps are not updated
I’ve noticed that it has a pretty unpredictable schedule and service. It seems to close for no apparent reason, sometimes no outdoor seating. Plus, the menu items are always out. Maybe it’s time to give it a rest so another coffee shop can take its place?

They put a notice today (Oct 4 2025) at 9:45am that the store is closed till 10:15am for lunch. They closed the entire store during the morning breakfast hours 😅
Great spot nestled by the Van Ness muni station and business, NOLA coffee is unique and creamy, and the location has free WiFi and excellent for on the go studying.

I enjoy coming here! It is not crowded so it is a good place to relax in. I would like to thank Alicia for her excellent customer service and explaining the different coffee types to me. I got the Shakerato and she made it the perfect blend of sweet with a strong caffeine kick.

Took them 20 minutes to make a cappuccino, even though I was the only customer.

Will randomly close early and just post a sign on the door
Such a hidden gem! The coffee here is absolutely amazing – rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, perfect for relaxing, catching up with a friend, or even getting some work done. The interior is minimalist but beautifully designed, with every detail adding to the peaceful vibe. It’s one of those places you visit once and instantly want to come back to.
Avocado toast is nice
This is one of those coffee shops where it’s hard to fathom how long it takes them to make a single drink. Coffee is good but don’t go unless you have a half hour to stand and wait.
This is the worst blue bottle coffee location in the city. They are constantly closed at random hours in the day. The last 4 times I’ve stopped by the store over the last few weeks, they have been closed during regular business hours. Call the store before you show up at 1pm to check if they’re open, cause they might just be closed for no reason.
