I bought a $5 coffee and they charged me $6.24. It couldn't be $6.24 with tax. I found that this store automatically charged me an extra 15%. It's really dishonest! 5➕5✖️0.08625🟰5.43, it was originally $5.43, they charged me $6.24, which is equivalent to an extra 15% fee. I don't know what they charge this fee? A cheating store. From this little thing, it can be seen that the people in this store are very dishonest! They don't let customers see the bill!

Tried Blue Bottle over two days and sampled the cold brew, iced sweet latte, Bay breakfast sandwich, and banana bread. As someone who brews at home with a Breville Bambino and loves good coffee, I was hoping for something special.

The cold brew? Surprisingly smooth — easily the best part of the visit.

The iced sweet latte? Mostly milk. I left it behind on the tray, half hoping it would send a subtle message: this one’s not it.

The breakfast sandwich was pre-made and tasted like it — bland and forgettable. The banana bread was just… there. Not bad, but not worth writing home about.

Honestly, I wanted to like this place. But I left wondering how they charge so much for something I can make better at home — or dare I say, even get from Tim Hortons.

If this place is your go-to, no judgment. But if you’re expecting a standout coffee experience, maybe keep walking.

This Blue Bottle location is clean, bright, and dependable. The large windows let in a lot of natural light, and the seating is comfortable with a modern, minimal feel. It’s a great spot for a quiet coffee, a casual meeting, or even an interview—it feels calm and professional without being too stiff.

The staff were polite and efficient. They kept the line moving and the space tidy, which I appreciated. I got an oat milk mocha, made with tcho ganache and it was exactly what I expected—strong, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Everything came out quickly and was well-made.

There’s nothing overly flashy about this location, but it delivers exactly what you want from a coffee shop: good service, a comfortable environment, and a solid drink. It’s the kind of place you can count on when you want something low-key and reliable. I’d definitely come back.
