Best NOLA coffee outside of New Orleans proper.

The bad reviews seem very valid.. but my visit today was good. I arrived 1 min before their closing time when they’re already cleaning. They still made me a hot latte after I kindly asked. Coffee quality is great as usual. No problem with today’s visit.

In for a quick wet cappuccino to propel me through an early afternoon, coffee was tasty, craft wasn’t great. Still did the trick

Good drinks. Slow service. Didn’t get my drink for 20 minutes and almost got late for work
The place is small and you pay extra for the convenience. Not enough good coffee in this block area, but if you have time I highly suggest going to Philz instead on Folsom. Blue bottle is pricey and watery in comparison. They got me a few times this way now.

Nightmare. If you want to ruin your morning, you should definitely go to this place. The customer service is just terrible. I’ve been to other Blue Bottle locations and was completely satisfied. But this one is a disaster. I waited 30 minutes for my order. After 20 minutes, I started to think they might have forgotten it. When I asked, they rudely replied, ‘You can see we have a lot of customers.’ I could’ve understood if they had answered politely, but no – the staff was extremely rude. During those 30 minutes, I had to cancel my taxi three times while waiting for a coffee. When I was about to cancel my order, the cashier gave me a nasty look and served me with zero courtesy. I could write even more, but I think this is enough

Great coffee. There’s limited seating inside and a few more outside

I liked the space, which felt airy despite being at the bottom of a skyscraper canyon. Good service and I enjoyed a brown butter blondie although the coffee was too bitter in my opinion. Seating is limited.

I bought a bag of coffee and asked for espresso grind. Turns out to be drip grind. Wasted 10 mins to do it again
Seating is limited, but this particular location is always clean and well-maintained. I'm a fan of their Iced Nola. Love that they don't have an extra surcharge for oat milk!

Blue Bottle is my go-to spot for a post-workout coffee, and they never disappoint! Even when I stop by at 6:30 AM, the baristas (shout out to Sara and Jason ?) are always friendly, smiling, and ready to make my day better. The coffee is consistently incredible—smooth, rich, and just what I need to kick off my morning. Whether you’re a coffee connoisseur or just looking for a great cup to start your day, this place is worth the visit. The service and quality here are unmatched!
