What an absolute treasure! Followed my GPS to a different coffee place but my nose led me to blue bottle coffee. My cherry blossom latte was delicious and watching them make it was even better.

This is my favorite coffee roast. I hope its new Chinese overlords do it justice!

I ordered a seasonal latte. 8 bucks, one of the highest prices in the city. it was foamy. if you know anything about lattes, foamy is not how the milk should be steamed. that’s a cappuccino. not to mention, their seasonal syrup is really mediocre. the staff is nice though!
I emailed them about my experience weeks ago. no response. they seem to not care about their customer experience anymore, probably since they’ve been bought out by a big corporate.
check out third wheel coffee a few blocks away, they pull some of the best shots within a mile radius. skip blue bottle. trust me.
Imagine waiting in line to get coffee from a chain owned by Nestlé. Yes, Blue Bottle is owned by Nestlé. You’re in SF, just walk to a better spot.

When I first entered Blue Bottle Coffee in San Francisco, I had the impression that I had entered a minimalist sanctuary where each element was purposefully placed. Both the fresh pastry and the pour-over coffee I had were better than I could have imagined. The pastry was delightfully flaky and light, and the coffee was creamy, smooth, and loaded with flavour. It was a peaceful haven from the bustle of the city, with a welcoming attitude. Despite the hectic morning, everything felt well-organised, and the service was kind and attentive. Coffee enthusiasts like this type of establishment because of its high standards, meticulous attention to detail, and calm atmosphere.

Blue bottle coffee has always been one of my go to coffee spots in Los Angeles so we thought we would give this location a try. This location was seriously the best. I always get a oat milk latte and it never disappoints. We got the closing time mixed up and went right before closing but the staff were super welcoming and friendly.

There’s something special about visiting the original Blue Bottle kiosk in Hayes Valley. It’s small, simple, and tucked away—but that’s part of its charm. The coffee is excellent, just as you’d expect, and knowing this is where it all began makes every sip feel a little more meaningful. A must-visit spot for coffee lovers and fans of quiet San Francisco corners.
