I ordered a hot matcha latte and it was very disappointing. As a person who had proper matcha - the matcha powder is whisked with a chasen to get the smooth texture, the one I ordered here felt like the powder and the milk are just put together. It was really bland and definitely not worth the money! But I like the interior design: yellow light, wooden furniture, which is suitable for working. But the chair at the bigger table is too high and it’s a bit uncomfortable to sit and work there.

The girl in front of the cashier had a really bad attitude—unsmiling and impatient. If you’re having a rough day, it’s better to take a short break to breathe and reset, rather than showing that frustration to customers.

I went twice while in San Francisco. Solid service, very clean space and an excellent cup of coffee both times. It’s nice how early it opens up compared to other coffee shops in the area.

Really good coffee. Good vibes. Service was quick. I like their cappuccino with skim milk. The quality of coffee is excellent. It is on market street near equinox fitness studio. The menu is limited but good enough in my view.

So the coffee is great! However, maybe the person at the cashier was having a bad day but she wasn’t that great and by the look at her face she didn’t want to be there. She wasn’t focus and spilled my drink, and she seem annoyed by re making it again.

Terrible experience at Blue Bottle. First, they don’t even have a vanilla latte on the menu – which is surprising, since all it takes is a simple vanilla syrup. Then, when you order an iced latte, they don’t bother asking if you’d like sugar. Instead, they hand it over and expect you to somehow mix sugar into a cold drink – which obviously doesn’t dissolve well. I had to remove all the ice just to stir it properly.

When I went back to ask for more ice, instead of carefully refilling the cup, they just dumped it in, spilling coffee all over the counter and on my clothes. The worst part? Not even an apology.

Places like this really shouldn’t be operating in the morning rush – not only do they serve a disappointing coffee, but their careless attitude ruins your mood for the day. Definitely not worth it.
