This cost $34.? Really? What a rip off. I will not be ordering from Blue Fin Sushi any more.

Less than one star. The absolute worst Japanese food experience you can have in SF. You might actually get sick. Worst part is they DGAF. So many other great options in the city. Do not waste your time or money on these clowns.

Loved the food here. Some of the best vegetarian rolls ive had in the city. The unagi sauce is amazing and so is the miso.

Came here Sunday night around 6:45pm and there was a bunch of seating available. They had a special going on for $25 mini uni plate and 50% hot sake. I ordered the uni plate, sashimi deluxe, crab rangoons, and salmon roe nigiri. The total was around $100 for two people and we were still hungry. Pricing is pretty good for all the stuff we ordered. Service was good as well but disappointed that they were out of stock for most of the items that caught my attention

I love this place! Tonight I had gyoza and the freshest fish in my chef’s choice Chirashi rice bowl. And they gave me a free bowl of miso! Thank you Harajuku!

Dear Blue Fin Staff, I've been a customer for almost 10 years now and just have to show some acknowledgment and appreciation. The Staff: I've sat in both the restaurant and bar side. Both are equally accommodating and friendly. There has always been a warm welcome and top service that I've received. Truly a local family vibe with a great welcoming environment. The Grub: My go to is the chicken karage appetizer. So so good as a start. The volcano roll is the best on the Menu for me. I bounce around on the menu and am not let down with quality, temperature and fast service. Try the app small plates. Super good to have a variety. And EVERY roll I've had has been fresh and well made! Such a go to for sushi. Try this spot out y'all! So worth it. Thank you Blue Fin! Catch you soon I'm sure :)

This place is not good anymore and the service is horrible. I ordered Doordash and waited over and hour (which is fine if it's busy). My meal was not in there because they were out. They didn't bother to call me and let me know my meal was out, just let me wait over an hour til the food gets to my house with it written on the receipt "sorry we were out". Also, my wife's food was cold asf and they left no dipping sauce and no silverware. I wish I had 2 more hands so I can give this place 4 thumbs down

Overcharged 20% before tax and tip compared to the menu posted out front. After clarifying if the menu was wrong the staff indicated the menu out front is "special online price" which is not specified up front. They declined to honor their posted pricing therefore they have lost my good will.

I've been going to BFS since 2005 when I moved to SF. It was always great! Last night I ordered a large delivery via Grubhub w. Volcano, NY and Spicy Tuna Rolls, Charizard Roll, Rice and some Appetizers = $ 74.84 I noticed that the 1 box of rice was "used" as it contained food rests from the restaurant. Hope not from someone else's plate :-) Like with many SF Restaurants, the quality and ingredients of the food changed rapidly which I noticed on my stomach and gut 20 minutes after eating, which suggest a massive amount of GSM and other chemical stuff. The food looked and tasted different and the preparation and presentation was done without the usual care I so fondly remember from the old BFS. I wonder if this restaurant changed hands like so many others in this city (Hard Knox) for legal (= Investment Immigration) purposes. It seems that the legacy of this once great restaurant city is getting poorer day by day. Hang in there "Chapeau" as you are still the best place in town!

I deliver food for the GrubHub and people order from this place togo all the way out to Daily City. So when I had a chance to try their Ahi I got one ot go and shared it with my love in Hayward after my shift was done. Now that things may be opening up we will make it a stop when in the richmond district.

Outside of the restaurant looks to be rebranded as Hakura Sushi. We were excited to dine here after seeing the reviews, but after leaving I have to report my dismay. Feeling bait and switched.Extremely disappointed with portion size for everything we ordered. The Ika squid was burnt and chewy. Some pieces of my Gold Mine roll barely had fish or mango on top of them. The Hamachi X was bland. There were three pieces of tofu in my Agedashi order...we left still hungry. The service was ok, our server was very attentive to our water and tea cups. (Maybe to help us feel more full?)Overall, we agreed halfway through our meal that we wouldn't be back. A real shame, as it's walking distance from home.

Just simply amazing sushi. A very comfortable lounge as well if you are looking for a place to grab a drink and some great food. Staff was very attentive. Everything I ordered was great. I'll definitely will be coming back. They also had these deep fried chicken drumetts that are a must try!

A date and I were in the area and came across this little lounge on a Thursday afternoon. While it is during COVID times, I can tell that the place would've been pretty nice for dine-in considering how spacious it seemed inside. We simply ordered gyoza on a whim. It was pretty tasty! Its price on the other hand? Not worth the $8 in my opinion, but if you've got the financial capacity to spend a little more and are hungry, go for it!
