Boba Guys Union Square

My wife and I live nearby and used to enjoy coming here. Sadly, the quality has gone downhill recently. Too much ice, not enough boba, stale tea, too much sugar, and disinterested staff. Disappointed.

If you're near Chinatown, Union Square or FiDi (Financial District) then consider coming here for boba. Be prepared for a line. My favorite is the lychee green tea though I have also tried the jasmine green tea and the strawberry matcha tea.

Fast service and delicious selection. Vegan and decaf options available.

Lovely bubble tea here. As an Asian with experience with a lot of bubble tea’s, this shop was good and tasted amazing. Service was also very fast.

The strawberry matcha boba from Boba Guys is my guilty pleasure. I usually get less sweet and less ice with whole milk. Enjoy!

Everything really really bad. My order of no ice had more than half of the glass filled with ice. Even the drink was mediocre. Sad to see boba guyz loose its thing!

Easily the best boba I’ve had , the texture of the boba was on point! I had the hibiscus mint boba which was surprisingly delicious even with 0%sweetnes!

Staff is patient, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable! Beverages and toppings are consistently tasty, with fresh ingredients. We're regulars now!

Love the staff, Skyler was super helpful with navigating the menu and drinks came out fast. The music and the staff were great, the korean banana milk is a must !!!!

The Korean banana flavor is amazing! We’ve tried a few flavors and didn’t love them, but this is like a creamy banana smoothie flavor. Yummy, soft boba!

I ordered and really enjoyed their signature drink Strawberry Matcha Latte. It’s a layered drink that consists of Organic premium-grade matcha, your choice of milk and their housemade strawberry puree. I added their boba to my drink. It is always delicious. You get small pieces of strawberry in the jam, which makes it taste very fresh and tasty. The matcha itself earthy and sweet, but subtle. You can choose from a variety of milks like organic whole milk, oat milk, coconut milk and almond milk. I usually get their organic whole milk. I really love their boba. It’s perfectly chewy, slightly sweet and always tastes fresh. I have never had a bad experience with their boba, and I’ve been coming to this location for a few years now.

This location is small and cozy. Space to enjoy your drinks and food is limited. They offer delivery through third-parties, and you can order ahead for pickup. It’s located right next to Liquor & Deli on Union Square. There’s a parking garage right across the street, which you would have to pay for. Paid parking on the street is very limited. There is no free parking around or near this location. Staff is friendly, helpful and prompt. There are times that line is out the door, but they usually knock it out fairly quick. I have yet to try their Korean Banana Milk drink, but I hear it’s delicious!

I’ve followed the Boba Guys on Instagram for years and I can’t believe I finally got to try their signature drink! I ordered through a kiosk in the entrance and waited a couple minutes for my drink. I love the dairy-free alternatives and there is a lot of flexibility in customizing your drink. I wish I lived closer to a location!

If you want to get your boba, DO NOT ORDER from this place. The phone they have says it's not related to them. I ordered for delivery, my products never left the shop, and I still have not heard back from them. Accountability zero.
