Decent, but far from life-changing, this neighborhood Vietnamese will satisfy a fix in an area with such few Southeast Asian options.

Bun Bo Danang, a less lemongrass spicy version of its distant Hue cousin. Clean broth, but not much more to say.

The old lady chef-operator is darling sweet. Ample outdoor seating.
I'm lucky to live close to this super cute and quiet corner spot with big windows that make you feel like part of the neighborhood. I tend toward vegetarian but I recently treated myself to the vermicelli with duck and I'm glad I did. My friend's duck banh mi was good too: tasty moist/crispy duck with good proportions on a fresh toasty roll. The owner is sweet and attentive and clearly cares about the food and your experience.
We are so lucky to have this in the neighborhood! I came in here after a recent trip to Vietnam and had a great chat with Thuy about the street dishes I missed the most. She made the Banh Xeo crepe with all the typical sides and it was pretty amazing. I'm looking forward to going back to eat my way through the rest of the menu.
