Bob's Donuts is the most reviewed Donut shop in San Francisco, it's also open 24/7 which is pretty rare. I was in the vicinity getting dinner at House of Prime Rib, so I stopped here afterwards just to check them out. I came in the evening, but they still had a good amount of donuts available. I got a chocolate raised donut that tasted pretty good considering it was already evening, not sure how often they prepare a new batch. Overall, I'm happy there's a 24/7 donut shop, I wish there were more of these places around.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!! Krispy Kreme who? These donuts are beyond words of delicious and delightful. I drive from the East Bay usually late night when my husband and I are craving phenomenal donuts. The donuts are extremely fresh, the times I've been here there has been an older gentleman making them and racks of donuts ready to be bought. Yummmmmmm. Just incredible tasty donuts. You can tell the oil they get made in is also very fresh, no after taste of old oil. Donuts are not super greasy. The service is magnificent! The first time coming here the woman was extremely helpful and kind. The second time a young man helped us and he had a great personality and energy. He was telling us some of the stories of the donut place. Really enjoyed his service! The ambiance is an old school donut shop with closed off seating area but looks very vintage. Grab and go type of donut shop right on Polk St. RECOMMEND THIS PLACE 100% :)
I think I'm in love with Bob's Donuts! I've tried the cake crumb, the chocolate bar, and the one with vanilla custard on top. They were all amazing! The cake crumb was rich and moist, and the vanilla custard and chocolate bar were both so light and so fluffy, almost like a mille-feuille. I loved them all. The place is small, and you may need to wait a little, but the service is really fast, and it's totally worth the wait! I will definitely be back and I will try more!
Sweet crispy moist goodness!!! I just had my first ever cronut at Bob's and it makes me never want a croissant or donut again. Delicate chewy layers with a sugary crisp outside, dusted in cinnamon sugar. I can't stop talking about it. Hurray for Bob's, hurray for cronuts!
