Really enjoyed my experience at this small corner Japanese bistro in the mission. Walked in with no wait (at open) and had a delicious meal with great drinks for good value.
Considering the hype this place has I don't know if I would go out of my way or wait in line, but I was very happy with the experience.

The food was delicious. I ordered the plate of the day, which was chicken with tartar sauce and rice, and it was incredibly tasty. My dad ordered the pasta, which he also enjoyed very much. I love the atmosphere here and honestly have nothing negative to say about the place itself.
However, as you can probably tell from my rating, the service is my only concern. While it was efficient and relatively quick, there was no warmth or welcoming feel from our server....
