Bosco is a new Italian restaurant in the location of a former Spanish spot. It is a large, warm, and trendy space with a nice open kitchen and a live fire. The ambience makes it a great spot for a big family dinner or a get-together with friends.
The food is absolutely amazing. All pasta dishes are fantastic, with specific praise for the crab gnocchi. Other excellent dishes include the special Brussels sprout appetizer, the calamari, the seafood stew, the Pork chop, and the Foccacia. The dessert menu is a highlight, featuring a heavenly tiramisu, a terrific olive oil polenta cake, and a perfect ginger panna cotta. The ginger panna cotta is often cited as a favorite, praised for its depth of flavor and great textures from accompaniments like meringue and granita.
The service is very attentive, friendly, warm, and efficient, though some note it can be a little too frequent with check-ins. The wine selection is huge, and original cocktails are available, though some may find them a bit too sweet. Overall, Bosco is considered a true hidden gem and a new local favorite with excellent food and service.
