Omg, best clam chowder I've ever had! Everyone is so nice there even with a line out the door. I will always come back to this gem while in the bay area!!

Ordered catering for a funeral, confirmed all details were correct, food did not show at all. No explanation and a very weak apology. Nightmare — don’t order catering from this company.
Awesome fresh baked breads of all sorts. The staff seemed a bit upset they had customers but the bread is really good so I'll go back.

Stick to sourdough bread here. The sourdough seeded baguette is full flavored; the sesame & anise seeds are an excellent compliment. The pull apart sourdough rolls and sandwich buns are also good and store well in the freezer. The chocolate chip & raisin bread is a unique treat; a perfect accompaniment to your morning coffee.
Bagels are bland & taste like generic dinner rolls; same stuff Safeway sells, so save your money and go to House of Bagels up the street. Same goes for their cookies & croissants; VERY basic quality and not worth the prices they charge.
The "papa steve's" pizza is a tremendous ripoff; poor quality cheese and toppings, paired with a bland sauce and a strange sourdough-ish (?) crust. Texture and taste leave a lot to be desired; by far one of the worst pizzas in the city. For good sourdough pizza please visit Goat Hill!
Sadly none of these items are as fresh as in years past; they do not bake ANYTHING here anymore for some reason. Shame really; we were used to a pleasant & fragrant walk to this bakery for years.
Drip coffee is very good here, service curt and unremarkable.

Unclear Ubereats store front. I ordered a sandwhich and for sides it presents options such as “Sourdough Baugette, Salads, ect”. I selected croissant thinking I would get a side croissant.
Instead my whole sandwhich turned into a croissant-sandwhich. Whoever is in charge of the storefront need to make it clear that’s what’s happening because my entire order got ruined by this.
Looking for a fresh loaf of bread? This is the place! Their signature is sourdough but they also have sweet loaf and other types.

Boarded up and indoors closed except the side togo window. Couldn't survive on San Francisco as an actual place to eat.

Delicious sourdough Italian sandwich. The coffee was really tasty too. Employees are kind and you can tell they work hard.
