I ordered a chicken parm sandwich and this is what they gave me. Only saving grace were the fries.

I love the Clam Showder soup. Very creamy and rich just right. The sourdough Bread is like no other, the potatoes were awesome. wow great job. I only found that the clam or seafood in the soup could have been more present in the soup.
That's why I give 4 stars for food. Otherwise if more clam or seafood in the soup Would have want to give above 5 stars. Great job.

They make sure to have the doors on both sides of the cafe wide open — so people get uncomfortable and don’t stay too long

Sorry I already have a cold and don’t need it to get worse. Bye

Hard to find if you are inside the building. It is better to go out and find it via O’Farrell street, the address is confusing.
Bread was good, and also the salad. It was too hot to sit inside

This is for the Boudin’s at Macy’s San Francisco at the LL.

Terrible food! Terrible manager. The lady with the glasses and husky voice kept yelling at the poor Asian woman “repeat the orders to the kitchen! Repeat the orders back!” We felt bad for the Asian lady. This Asian lady was always happy and polite. Then you had some real heavyset lady (another manager) just sitting at one of the tables watching the show as if this was ok. She couldn’t get up once to help the long line or check in on the kitchen? Terribly run. The focus isn’t on the customer, it’s on them and how fast they make the crap which they call food and serve us.

Do yourself a favor! Don’t eat here. The managers are lazy and mean yelling at the employees. Then at one point the husky voice manager tells a customer “I don’t what’s happening back there” when the kitchen made a wrong sandwich and this manager attempted to blame the Asian lady!
We don’t support establishments that condone yelling at employees. This manager needs training. The other manager who just sat at a table needs to also go through training.

Shameful. Never again! Not only is Macy’s going downhill, all the eateries too. Should have just got a cheesecake at Cheesecake Factory.

I DoorDash this place every time I’m in town for work, I get the clam chowder & the turkey cranberry sandwich add cheddar cheese; it slaps so hard every time. 🤤 this time I also got the peach milkshake and will be getting a milkshake with my future orders ! Yuuum. 😍 I can’t attest to their physical business or actual service since I do delivery, but it arrives via DoorDash in a reasonable time and it’s always been delicious. This is my third time ordering! ☺️

good clam chowder

Food is great, except that the sourdough is on the harder side for me. The beef soup that comes with French Dip is a bit salty. You’ll need to ask for water at the counter.

I don’t even think they really serve real sourdough. It was just like a supermarket bread. Clam chowder was more like potato in cream. Overall, very bad. Feels like a tourist trap.

If you are on your lunch break, Do NOT come here. It took an hour just to have a cup of soup and a sandwich! The service is so slow!!!!

It's always a good time at the bakery. The baked goods besides the bread are good. Coffee is tasty, and the service is friendly.

I ordered the soup in the bread bowl, too bad the bread bowl was not as fresh as the one at Pier 39 branch.

Why not have the street level open?

I have the before and after recipe change on the Snickerdoodle cookie. They are now serving a spice cake style cookie in it's place. I quit coming when they took the Snickerdoodle off the menu and returned 4 years ago then they brought it back. I thought it was an accident when my husband brought me 6 cookies and I told him he got the wrong ones.. Even yelled at him for the mishap and this whole time it wasn't his fault... It was the restaurant's fault for changing the recipe and making the cookies smaller but charging more. Once you taste it, you will know it's not a Snickerdoodle recipe they're using. Shame on you!
