With a great view of the San Francisco waterfront, homemade sourdough, fresh seafood, and reasonable prices, this restaurant was the perfect choice for our family. We enjoyed the complimentary bread, pizza, and a shrimp dish. We highly recommend!

Iconic location did not disappoint! This joint is huge! Very busy. Very well organized. We didn't have to wait for service. There is an elevator! Very happy we had a yummy lunch before saying so long to San Fran.

Great experience with a group of six plus a baby. We were in town and caught up with friends. Food was excellent and so was service. They were helpful with accommodating our 1-year old as well.

I've eaten downstairs on the sidewalk for years. But, the upstairs is on a whole new level. (haha) Seriously, the view overlooking the harbor is delightful. The service is good. The drinks even better. And my wife was able to eat clam linguine and her sister the filet mignon. Me? I stuck with the go-to clam chowder in a bread bowl. And all three dishes were delicious.

There were six of us. We were visiting from Chicago. Who was delicious, waitress was nice, the view was good. We sat by window on the second floor. I accidentally left my Chicago White Sox cap there at the restaurant. I called the next day, and they had it waiting for me. My son and his girlfriend picked it up for me.

Nice place and a way to enjoy Boudin without the hustle and bustle. Had a nice bottle of wine with a decent view and calmed us down from all the go go go.

The food was okay. Salad tasted like a salad kit from the store, soup was limited in the bread bowl, and the steak I ordered was not cooked the way I ordered. Our waiter was at many times no where to be found. I was a bit shocked that the restaurant allowed a patron to bring in their pet and have the pet be in the aisle, on the chair, and have food on the floor. They did go out of their way to bring my sister a birthday dessert. The view from our window was very lovely but we will not be returning next time we are in town.

Great starters, pizza, fish and chips and burger! A hidden gem for both tourists and locals. Warm, smiling servers.

We had reservations and arrived early. We were sat right away at a nice big round table overlooking the water. Jose our server was knowledgeable and stayed on top of things. Excellent service and food!!

Our party of6 was seatd promptly in the very back room with great views of the Bay and Alcatraz. The guests in this area had our own waitress and bus person who were great. We ordered a variety of seafood selections and all were delivered at the same time, hot and delicious. The two kids in our party ordered from the children's menu and had excellent pizzas that were surprisingly large. And the bottomless sourdough breadbasket was outstanding! Wonderful time for sure!

I was pleasantly surprised by Bistro Boudin. I really thought the food would be mediocre, just capitalizing on the historical nature of the business - much like many of the restaurants along Fisherman's Wharf. However, I found the food fresh, for the most part local/regional, and very good. Even if it wasn't attached to such an historic (and important) name in American cuisine, it would be a very good restaurant. And when you leave, be sure to check out the room across the hall with several plaques and pictures telling the story of the Boudin family and the history of sourdough bread in the Bay Area.

We had dinner with friends Saturday night. We were able to get a reservation easily and a lovely table with view of the bay. We each ordered seafood from the menu and everyone was very pleased with what they had variety. Our favorite part is the fresh sourdough they set on your table as soon as you're seated. The restaurant is perfect place to bring out-of-towners.

Excellent bread, people there are very friendly, the bread factory are really wonderfull, and you can visit it and see the bakers working all the time. The coffee is really good, and is a great place to have breakfast. I recommend the clam chowder.

The oysters on the half shell and beef stew were great. However, my fillet was ordered medium and it came almost rare. It also was very tough. Did not seem to be a fillet. When we had coffee, the cream was bad. They didn't have any more so they brought us some streamed milk - not the same.
