Prices of eggs have certainly gone up but those prices have greatly eased and still they’re passing on a surcharge of $1.50 for eggs for their burritos and sandwiches. Eggs aren’t twice as expensive but still the extra $1.50 feels like price gouging. 2 standard eggs for breakfast down the street aren’t $1.50 extra. Sure I don’t have to buy it, but the signage isn’t obvious and I’ve already committed after the order is rung up with a line of people behind me, and then the pad flipped over for a tip expectation.

I would have liked to have addressed this with a manager or sent an email via their website but both are unavailable. Burritos are good, but a caution to those unaware of the 15% hike.

Happy to remove this post when the prices return to normal.

First time eating here after the move, got a breakfast sandwich with sausage and my friend the King Kong toast with hazelnut butter and bananas.

I was greatly disappointed by my sandwich - it tasted like a McDonald's item, from the soft enriched bun, and full of mayo rather than anything special. Just egg and a patty. Nothing to write home about.

The toast also didn't look great, really big piece and impossible to dig in without somehow knife and forking it. He ended up forking all the banana slices before biting the chocolate bread. Commented that the nut butter was also nothing special, maybe less sweet than Nutella.

My first visit with the Tia Maria was also lacklustre -- the taters were a little soft and the beans kinda fell out and were homogenized, but at least better than this visit. I'm glad they're a popular neighborhood spot but don't think I'll be back, especially with Al Carajo block away.

Good tastes good, but quite pricey for the portion size received. Perhaps get something other than the toast if you want a larger portion.

This is the second burrito I’ve ever had in my life that actually made me mad. I got their most popular burrito I forget the name. I tried this place because it was rumored to be the best breakfast burrito in sf. Lies you tell. Portion was small but I wasn’t too mad about that because I don’t eat much and it wasn’t overly expensive. What irritated me was the taste. It was both bland and way over salted at the same time. There was an orange sauce that was the source of saltiness and everything else was like textured air in flavor. Couldn’t even taste a speck pepper in it entirety. Save your money you can make a better one at home. That’s what I did

I remember it being good, but I got a Tia Maria today that was overpriced, cold and flavorless. If I’d unwrapped it in the store instead of walking home, I would’ve given it back.

Fantastic food, but ordered one burrito to go which took 20-25 minutes to prepare?

Honestly this burrito was so one note, smushy with no crunch at all and just plain bad. Didn’t even finish it.

This was the first place that I ate at on my trip to SF. I grabbed a breakfast burrito and went over to Delores Park to eat it. It was the best breakfast burrito I've ever had, you will not be disappointed!

It was good, I saw the reviews on here that said it’s the best burrito in Oakland so I had to stop by and get the OG

The burrito was good, it wasn’t as good as I wanted it to be though.

I also got the strawberry mint agua Fresca which was fire!
Definitely recommend that!
