This is THE place you go in the city for outstanding ribs. Staff is friendly and service is fast. 5 stars for them.

Best part of our weekend! It's hard to find good gravy outside of the south, but this is really good. Loved the biscuits, too. The fried chicken is awesome, too!

I see why folks have been talking about this place! Fried chicken is 🔥. It is finger-licking good. Sides were also on-point. Food is as good as the rumors!

i didn't know cornbread could have so much flavor
That shrimp and grits number with the sweet tomatoes blows my mind every time.
Street parking took a long time to find, but the food made up for it—everything we ordered was fantastic! The grits, ribs, cornbread, and drinks were all amazing. Service was just okay. We sat on the patio, which was warm enough thanks to the heaters, but unfortunately we saw mice happily running up and down the pipes, which definitely took away from the experience.

We were excited to find southern food in the city but left disappointed - the chicken was dry and tasteless, the beignets were not cooked through and felt raw, and the portion was kinda small. Server also didn’t feel very attentive.

I’ve been dreaming of this place since we left San Francisco. The biscuit was one of the best I’ve ever had. Our sever was fantastic too. I wish I could remember her name but she was the best. She wore a head scarf. Anywho, we absolutely will be back one day!
