The bathroom was absolutely disgusting, it smelled like piss everywhere. And don’t even get me started on the food, tell me why the other reviews siu mai looks really good and well cooked, when ours came out it looked unappetizing and when we bit into it, it was hot but raw. And for the tofu beef, the beef was really slimy and looked raw. And for the tea, why would you put the tea down the moment we came in, and not tell us that we will be charged 1.75 per person for the tea. And tell me why we needed to pay a tip of $15 and our bill was only $88. Overall the experience was awful. Would not recommend if you have a sensitive nose the bathroom smell is so strong and the bathroom doesn’t even have a frickin door!!
Broadway Dim Sum Cafe surprised me in the best way. I was expecting mid, based on some of the reviews, but this place slapped. The pork and veggie buns were fresh and fluffy with that good steamy dough and flavorful filling.
The chow fun was delicious. Chewy, silky noodles with great wok flavor and not oily. But the real star was the braised pig trotters. Fall-apart tender, with the perfect mix of rich fatty bits and soft lean meat, all draped over a bed of cabbage soaking in sauce. I still think about that.
Overall the food hit, service was fast, and it felt like a true neighborhood spot - no frills, just good food flying out of the kitchen. Def coming back.
Food was ok...the restaurant wasn't very clean, flies flying around tables and smelled of cigarettes. This seemed like a place where neighborhood grandpas would come in just to gab rather than to eat.
AMBIENCE: Small, simple, straightforward restaurant. Not fancy or modern, but you can tell this place has been here for a minute. I wouldn't really recommend this place if you're in a wheelchair.
FOOD: Good food, couldn't really complain as every dish came out hot. I really liked their siu mai, mix some soy sauce with chili oil & you've a got a good sauce to dip it in.
OVERALL: No wait, food steadily came out, & the bill didn't hurt my wallet. I would recommend paying with cash here though.
Xui mai was super good. I got so much food for such a reasonable price. Fed 3 of us for ~$25 and was even good cold as takeout later in the evening.
Sticky rice was 4 stars. Pork bun 3.75 stars, custard bun 3.5 stars, fish fillet 3 stars.
Only worth coming back for the sticky rice and even that wasn’t super flavorful
The owner/lady here was very nice and helpful and very kind - me & the coworkers came here to try this spot dim sum was steamed fresh and was genuinely tasty and good the veggies egg roll was fresh and awesome chicken feet texture and flavor was in point and the spareribs black bean sauce rice was very tasty and good as well overall great friendly experience in a small mom and pop shop
Not bad but hakaw is not pure shrimp ?
Custard bun looked and tasted different from what I tasted before in other restaurants. Will I try again? Yes because food is affordable, and chow mien from the next table looks yummy ?

This place is in the middle of Chinatown. You'll have to find parking somewhere around there. Which is very difficult. I parked approximately 4 to 5 blocks away just to eat at this place. I looked up on Google on the reviews and this seems to be one of the best places to eat dim sum. I went. I ordered the pork dumpling, the shrump, dumpling and sesame balls. It took a while for my dim sum to come out because it was fresh. The freshest dim sum I have ever had... steaming hot and fresh. I can't say enough good things about this place. Its a hole in the wall, so don't expect anything fancy. I definitely will be back for more.

My daughter and I went, and unlike other reviews, I really enjoyed our meal. I ate wonton noodles, shrimp crystal dumplings, and shumai. The soup was made of well-cooked chicken broth, the noodles were cooked to a good degree, and the wontons were well made without any unpleasant smell, making them easy to eat for people of all ages. The shrimp sujeong dumplings had shrimp meat wrapped in a thin dumpling skin that was easy to chew, and adding a little soy sauce and chili oil kept my appetite going. The shumai had a very slight pork flavor, but if you expected it, you could actually taste it and it had a good chewy texture. It was fairly clean and the waitress asked questions well (there was one woman who spoke English when we were there), and although they didn't ask for a tip when checking out, we were satisfied with the taste and service so we tipped. The drink bill came to $20.60 and I needed change, so I paid cash and gave a coin and $2 from the remaining change as a tip. It is a very satisfying place where you can leave with a happy heart and say thank you.

Best place I’ve ever eaten at for Chinese food. Everything is fresh fresh fresh. The sesame balls are perfection and were served hot!! I loved it.

Decent siu mai but they only serve bottled water.
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible enough, but the entire city of San Francisco I would characterize as
not wheelchair friendly.
