Jello shots, enough said. The people are cool, drinks are reasonable and they let girls dance on bars, always a plus!

I lost my jacket at this place while dancing and the team wasn’t cooperative to help me find it. I don’t think anyone should go to this place if the employees at this place don’t care to help you find you belonging from camera footage while you enjoy. Why pay so much money as cover charge when they take no responsibility.

DON'T. I don't know what you've been told: idk if you've had this place recommended to you by friends. But they're either liars or clowns. The music was TRASH. Like, Justin Bieber and Macklemore trash. Really? Idk if I'm over critical because East coast clubs seem to be much better; but a $20 cover for that trash? Highway robbery. Don't even step foot in this trash. Drinks hella overpriced too.

Unfortunate experience. Wouldn’t recommend.

Disgusting and horrible service. Not worth it on your worst night. We tried to walk in and the bouncer literally blocked us from entering for no apparent reason, other than a power hungry need for validation. We literally walked in the wrong entrance and he had a fit. Apologies for not knowing the appropriate entrance...

Really odd experience here. The bouncer was weirdly very rude for no reason. I haven't been treated like that for years. Put a real damper on the evening.

I used to really enjoy coming to Bruno's. It was my favorite bar in SF, but sadly I can't and probably will never enjoy it as I once did. On the fateful night of August 23rd (last year), I got my phone stolen from my purse. I had no idea that it was such a common occurrence until I read the reviews. The bouncer/waiters don't do much to help you in such case. I find it disturbing that management would allow criminals run rampant inside of Bruno's without putting any effort to mitigate these issues. The low rating is due to my last experience at Bruno's. It's not necessarily Bruno's fault for my somewhat carelessness, however, I do believe Bruno's management should try to listen to all of these complaints and put in place some sort of security measure that would deter the delinquents from stealing more phones/wallets. ie. monitoring cameras, posting signs warning people, having bouncers at the front telling you to be wary of people since there have been instances when phones went missing at this establishment. Sadly, I probably won't be coming back here since I didn't have such a pleasant experience the last time I was here. Otherwise, I would have given this place 5 starts since I do like the music and the drinks. I'm still giving it two stars since I used to enjoy this place. All I have to say is, BE VERY CAREFUL WITH YOUR PHONES AND WALLETS. If you can, don't bring your wallet/leave it at home. You can tuck your phone in your back pocket of your pants and tie a sweater over your waist (this sounds like a safer idea to be than anything else since it would be hard for a thief to know if you have anything under your sweater). For ladies, maybe you can tuck your phone inside your bra. I don't know, get creative if you don't want to lose your phones/money/wallet.

I wasn't going to comment on this until I noticed many others had the same issue. My phone and wallet were stolen here Saturday night. It seems like an ongoing issue.

This was my second time coming here on a Saturday night. The two guys outside were super nice. One by the exit & one by the front. They guy in the front let me & my party of 8 in for $20 each but the girl tried to charge us $30 but he let her know. Really appreciated that from him (1 Star for that). I left my cards at home but luckily I had Apple Pay & they were using smarttab pos which is what I use for at the bar I manage. I asked the bartender by the entrance to make sure they took Apple Pay & he said no.. I was confused bc I know smarttab accepts Apple Pay.. so whatever. I go to the bar by the restroom and asked if I could use Apple Pay & purchase white claws. She was very sweet & nice & was willing to try but unfortunately she didn't carry white claw at her bar (1 star bc she was sweet & helpful). So I went to the main bar and ordered the white claws and asked if I could use Apple Pay & she said she doesn't see that option.. I was kind of irritated bc I can see the "chip" option on the screen which is what you use to run Apple Pay. I ended up borrowing my friends credit card & let her know "hey In the future, you can use Apple Pay, you just hit credit, chip & place the phone by the card pad. She straight up told me "it's inconvenient, out of my way, & a waste of time. I'd rather swipe a card." SUPER RUDE. I always tip but I definitely did not tip her. Smh. I felt bad but she definitely didn't deserve any tip. I've bartended before & that's definitely not the way to go. I highly recommend training & informing all the staff on how to use a pos. YES YOU CAN USE APPLE PAY. That's literally what the keypad is for. You can use it for "tap" on credit & debit cards as well as Apple Pay. You can even manually punch in a card (which I do not recommend bc of security reasons).

One of the best nights out of my life and I party a lot! All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. All of the DJ’s always play the best music to get the crowd going. There’s always a super fun house party vibe.

Everything was good except one of the females at the door gave me a hard time. She looked at my friends ID, gave it back then looked at mine. She opened the door and when I tried to follow my friend in she stopped me and said she didn't look at it. She was really rude and nasty. The whole thing was completely uncalled for. Especially since I literally was just in the bar going to another part of it. So if she's still working there ... I won't be back.
