7 of us went to celebrate my Birthday and I wanted a restaurant that served all kinds of foods. Anyways we had to wait 30 minutes for a table for all of us to eat together. And yes we all picked different foods like Shrimp, Crab Legs, Fish, White Rice, Hamburger, Broiled Shrimp, Garlic Bread, Spare Ribs, French fries. ect... And then there was a mix up on 1 order the Waiter had excused himself and said he was sorry. He came back and put a bib on my granddaughter because Crab Legs is really messy to eat. When everybody was done eating I paid for everybody's meal and I tipped the Waitress & Waiter for their services. Then the Waitress brought me 2 small slices of ice cream sandwich with Sprinkles on it & 1 lighted candle the Waitress said ok everybody let's start Happy Birthday song even the table behind us were singing...There were 2 Birthday's there including mine made 3...I was Happy.

Last visited a BGSC 30 years ago. Pleased to say not much has changed. Peel your own shrimp in cajun sauce with a cesar salad. The 1lb bucket was enormous but I rose th the challenge. Good vibe. Busy but not too loud. If you are celebrating a special occasion, let them know, they love a bit of theatre.

Fun place, food is fine but nothing amazing. If you're eating here it's because of tom hanks.

Very good for how busy they were, the ribeye was cooked perfect 👌 salmon was a bit dry so I'd go with the steak, the wait staff we're very friendly just very busy.

Terrible service. The bartender was rude, playing around, looking at her phone, and not paying attention to customers who wanted to order. I was feeling adventurous and wanted to try something new. I asked her if she could make me her favorite cocktail from the menu. Then proceed to pour a glass of wine (didnt event try to make a cocktail). I was so but off by the service, I paid for my drink and went somewhere. Later I saw a tiktok her on tiktok. Maybe save this kind of stuff when your off the clock.

Food was delicious. Staff was awesome. Place was clean. Stopped by for dinner while staying in San Francisco for a few days.

I ate here like 8 years ago and it was so bad my husband and I still regularly bring it up as probably the worst meal of our lives.

Always so much fun to visit a San Francisco classic. I was disappointed the staff didn’t ask us any trivia questions but it was still amazing.

Good fried food. Service was excellent and good views from the end of the pier. Next to the sea lions.

Of course it’s on the expensive side, gimmicky, whatever
but we knew this going in. We are fans of the movie and first time visitors, so we didn’t mind paying for the experience. Our server - Kevin - was just awesome. We enjoyed a bit of Forrest Gump trivia and looking out at the views over the water. The food wasn’t anything to make us go “wow,” but we are easy to please and we thought it was good! We enjoyed our time here.
