7 of us went to celebrate my Birthday and I wanted a restaurant that served all kinds of foods. Anyways we had to wait 30 minutes for a table for all of us to eat together. And yes we all picked different foods like Shrimp, Crab Legs, Fish, White Rice, Hamburger, Broiled Shrimp, Garlic Bread, Spare Ribs, French fries. ect... And then there was a mix up on 1 order the Waiter had excused himself and said he was sorry. He came back and put a bib on my granddaughter because Crab Legs...
Last visited a BGSC 30 years ago. Pleased to say not much has changed. Peel your own shrimp in cajun sauce with a cesar salad. The 1lb bucket was enormous but I rose th the challenge. Good vibe. Busy but not too loud. If you are celebrating a special occasion, let them know, they love a bit of theatre.
Of course it’s on the expensive side, gimmicky, whatever… but we knew this going in. We are fans of the movie and first time visitors, so we didn’t mind paying for the experience. Our server - Kevin - was just awesome. We enjoyed a bit of Forrest Gump trivia and looking out at the views over the water. The food wasn’t anything to make us go “wow,” but we are easy to please and we thought it was good! We enjoyed our time here.
