A must for anyone looking for a night out in Chinatown. The bartender (bald Asian man, can’t remember his name) is so lit and absolutely hilarious!

I went to have a beer at night and the attitude of the person serving was very rude, at first I didn't know the reason but I can see that it is not the first negative comment they have made about racism. The treatment of local people is very different from the rest.

I went on Tuesday night, October 8, and had a terrible experience.
The man who was serving was very despotic, rude and racist. When I arrived I asked him for a typical local beer and he acted like he didn't understand my English. After several attempts I told him to give me something typical from China Town. And he gave me a peaceful one (we come from Mexico). After that, a man who lives there started talking to us and asked the bartender if he could show us a bottle of Chinese liquor and he got angry and started talking nonsense. It was a summary, but the experience was very uncomfortable, my wife was scared and believed that something could happen to us.

What a shame that such a nice place is run by such an unpleasant person.

I asked a bartender for a mineral water. He refused to sell it to me. I was very confused, until I realized he was either drunk or high. He thought I am asking for free water, which he actually also supposed to give to customers. Never coming to this place again.

I walked in for the first time with a friend and waited at the bar for the bartender to attend to us. After 10 mins, the bartender didn't even acknowledge us even though we were at the bar table right in front of him. We allowed him to continue to ignore us and go outside to smoke his cigarette and come back. A couple enters shortly after and he attending to them still completely ignoring us. When we asked him what we did wrong not to be served, he began yelling at us and threatened to kick us out with no explanation. We decided to leave once he started to become physical (still with no reason) and go to the bar next door. Four police men showed up shortly after and told us that he had made up a story that he's seen us before and that we waited there for 20 mins not asking for anything which was disproven by the other people at the bar who saw everything happen and also left due to him actions. I don't know if he was drinking on the job, having a bad day, or just racially profiling us but definitely wont be back if thats the service we receive.

Friendly staff who are happy to give reccomendations for the area (both for food, bars etc as well as "cultural" advice).

Reasonably priced.

Nice vibe. Music, but not too loud. Cool rural on the floor you enter in.

Limited drink selection. The bartender seemed annoyed that my wife asked for a menu. She told us it was a dive bar. I must say, cleanest dive bar I’ve been to. She ignored us the rest of the time we were there.

We wanted to go to a bar after our dinner in North Beach. This was a 5 minute walk. It had seats available so we grabbed it quickly. Good thing that we did as it got crowded quickly. They didn’t have beer on tap and the white wine selection was only a Sauvignon Blanc. No rose or Chardonnay. If you go, you need to try the Buddha beer. (Tastes like a Tsingtao.)

This was one of my fav pubs in San Francisco. The drinks, music, and service were fantastic. There was no fuss or frills, just a great environment.

Bartender is a fun character and you can get some interesting drinks here. Narrow bar counter, expect to get close with others, can get pretty noisy when busy

Beers start at 7$ minimum, chill spot and the bartender is very kind and considerate.

Really cool bar, the kind of bar where you can actually meet and talk to people. I really enjoyed meeting my bartender, Savannah! She made great drinks and was fun to talk to. I’ll be back!
