Got a classic bahn mi and a taro coffee. The sandwich is not classic by any means. Why is there peppered steak in it? Secondly the coffee was way too thick and syrupy. The women there work hard. So support the business at your own expense. Total for everything $25. There was a 5% fee to support employees health. Which I don’t love since idk if the money goes to the employees. I’d rather tip them.

Awful. Lukewarm and greasy lemongrass pork and egg roll. Watery noodles. Nuoc cham thick and sweet. Not edible.

Expectations low since this is an airport. Chicken sandwich was filling and quite good!! Pho portion was WAY too small and a bit greasy. Still hits the spot if you're craving pho, but you have to spend like $30 to get full on the pho, and only $15 to get full on a sandwich.

Ordered a pho bowl but got a cup of pho...

This place has some tasty rice bowls with fresh ingredients and good flavor. That said, when I ordered two kid chicken bowls and one hawker rice steak bowl. The Hawker Rice Bowl I ordered was missing several key ingredients Garlic, Fried Free-range Egg, Kimchi, Cucumber, Pickled Carrots and Daikon, Herbs, Crispy Shallots, and Spicy Mayo --- There was literally only steak and rice in the bowl. It was still decent, but the experience was definitely less satisfying than I expected. Hopefully, they’ll pay closer attention to the details next time.

Really solid food. The garlic black pepper fries are sooo good! The bahn MI is pretty good but a bit pricey in my opinion. The portion is good to share. Seriously, try the fries! Also only $5 for a big bag of them.

Fresh, delicious Vietnamese food in the airport. I ordered the Pork Banh Mi & bone broth. The pork on the sandwich was tender and had a great balance of flavors. The bone broth is made in house, served hot, and tasted so good. Prices are typical airport prices but worth the money (unlike most airport food). They use a kioski for ordering which can be slow because of customers taking a long time to order; I would suggest having staff available to help move the line along during these situations. Once my order was placed the food came out quickly.

The food and service are outstanding! These people truly deserve a raise and generous tips. Having a “no tip” option does a disservice to their excellent work. Happy employees lead to excellent customer service!

I stopped by Bun Mee at SFO with high expectations after reading many glowing reviews claiming it’s one of the best and most authentic Bánh Mì spots in San Francisco. While the experience wasn’t bad, I have to admit I was a bit underwhelmed.

I ordered the lemongrass pork sandwich, which came with pickled carrots and daikon, cucumber, jalapeños, onions, Vietnamese herbs, and garlic mayo on a toasted baguette. The baguette itself was nicely toasted — crispy on the outside and soft inside, which I appreciated.

However, the lemongrass pork lacked the bold, aromatic Vietnamese flavor I was hoping for. It tasted more muted compared to traditional versions I’ve had elsewhere. It’s a decent option if you’re looking for something quick and convenient at the airport, but in terms of authenticity and flavor, it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me.

Still, it’s a solid choice at SFO if you’re craving a Vietnamese-style sandwich on the go.

Delicious food and huge shrimp spring rolls. The garlic fries are especially great. Sorry for the photo, we ate many of them first.

I didn't expect to have such a wonderful experience at a restaurant in the restricted area.
I ordered pho. The aroma of coriander was not too strong but enough, and the soup was warm and delicious, with a rich chicken flavor. The price was reasonable. The food was served very quickly, in about five minutes. Please note that the number of seats in the restaurant's dining area is limited.
