Takeout Burmese ghost kitchen. The food isn’t terrible but it’s isn’t inspiring. Garlic was overwhelming and sauces and coconut rice were too sugary.

Ghost kitchen, pickup only. Food is okay, more convenient than anything. Appropriately priced about $17-18 for an entree that is meal sized

Food was prepared very quickly with excellent flavor and generous portions. Expect dishes to be $15-$17. Keep in mind that this is a ghost kitchen, so there is limited seating to eat.
Parking: Free street parking. The area is dirty but not sketchy.
Wheelchair accessibility: The sidewalk isn't continuous and there's no telling if the front spots will be taken, so it could be difficult to access the front door.

This has one of the best mohin gha (catfish chowder) in SF. My mom is Burmese and we use too much fish sauce, but I’ve been trying this dish at all the local Burmese restaurants. Other places strain it or make it pulp free, but this one was mealy and very tasty. It came with the right amount of noodles and toppings. The platha and coconut rice are amazing for being standard sides. Other places sometimes seem like they’re giving you day old food, like the rice is compacted and hard. This fluffy coconut infused rice was made by someone who says there’s no such thing as too much coconut flavor. I’ve only ordered off Postmates and there’s no restaurant to eat at, but they do not give utensils unless you ask. Their boxes don’t have air vents for fried food, but we can’t all be perfect.

Ordered here many times. Beef curry, beef is always mega tough. I don't recommend getting that meat. Honestly, their meats are always very dry. If so, prices should be like $12, but it's much higher.

Best Burmese food in the Bay Area. Far Beats Burma love and Burma superstar. Completely unassuming location with incredible food at a great price, just compromising on service with take out only.

Quality Burmese food with authentic taste, prepared in commissary kitchen.Winners include Shan Noodle — not typically Burmese, but from Myanmar: rice noodles served in smokey tomato sauce, pleasantly unique. Burmese-style Lamb Red Curry, fragrantly balancing South and Southeast Asian ingredients, both wet and dry.Tea Leaf Salad, gets the flavor right, but not as umami-funky as other places. Pumpkin Curry with Chicken, a good option when seeking the mildly flavored.Downside is very long wait time (~40 minutes) and an in-house dining / pickup system that needs tightening. No notification of food being ready, requiring check-in with expeditor.

First, diners should be aware this is NOT a restaurant: It is a food pick up point that resembles a cross between a Greyhound Bus terminal and an Amazon pickup locker room. They fail to mention that on the web site so if you go there expecting a restaurant, you'll find yourself in a bus station instead.Second, once there, you can order from the kiosk and expect to be overcharged, they automatically added a tip to my charge without my authorization, I saw it only AFTER the receipt came out, and when I asked staff on site about it they literally threw up their hands and said "I don't know anything about that kiosk." And, there was no manager, there was no number to call...just "too bad don't care get lost" attitude.Once I had my food, after waiting forever and getting ripped off, it was pretty meh.If you want to sit down and enjoy good Burmese food, I suggest you look elsewhere.
Authentic Burmese, made with quality ingredients, well packed and priced for take-out/delivery. I’ve liked everything I’ve tried esp Shan noodles, tea leaf salad, and samusa soup.Ask for more heat if you like spicy food.

Delicious bread!
got a to go order filled with loveso good and thoughtfulthanks!
I ordered from Burma Classic for the second time, and so far 2/2 times, this place serves amazingly delicious food. I used to work on the same block as another Burmese restaurant here in SF, and their Nan Pya Thoke was sufficient, but BC's is downright amazing! (my cost review does not include delivery charges)
The food here is delicious and very reasonably priced. I’ve ordered several times. On one occasion they sent me the samosa appetizer instead of the samosa soup that I ordered, which was a bummer because their samosa soup is delicious and I really wanted it. But the samosas by themselves were delicious too, and I’ve worked at restaurants before and understand that these things happen, so I still think they deserve 5 stars based on how good the food is. I will definitely keep ordering from this place and hope to visit in person sometime soon.
