i came here with my girlfriend on a valentines date last year and we had such a good time. the food was delicious, and the staff were all very joyous. i came here to make another reservation for valentines this year, and am so sad to sed that they’re temporarily closed! i do remember that the top 40 radio they were playing was a little much, so hopefully when they come back they’ve revamped their playlist.

Made a reservation for this restaurant for valentines day, only for it to be suddenly cancelled a week before the reservation when every other restaurant is booked up. Trying to make a reservation at the other Burma love location and get stuck with a phone AI system that is unable to help. Really poor experience
We had the goat curry and the tea tree salad. Food was excellent. Portion sizes are very big so recommend sharing.

Can someone explain why this place does not have a Star? The food and service was exceptional. It was our firstborn time with Burmese cuisine, and we were blown away. If you love Thia, this is a different level without the mind blowing heat. It's heat with a favor and purpose that makes us wish we had this restaurant close to home.
I usually enjoy Burmese cuisine, but this place's food was just average. The rainbow salad was a highlight, though. The platha and chicken curry were just okay, as was the spicy noodle salad and the chicken red curry. I did like my hot tea, though.
Food was amazing - went for a family meal whilst in the city. Service was excellent. Didn't like the area didn't feel safe, but the restaurant itself was lovely inside. SF need to make the city safer and cleaner, area felt very run down. Samosas were insane.
We came to the Burma Love near the old SF mint for lunch on a Sunday. We had a reservation but I think a walk-in would have been just fine without a wait. We absolutely loved the food - everything from the platha to the tea leaf salad to the mango chicken. Just the right level of coconut spiciness and with a generous dose of mangos for the mango chicken. The U Aung San drink was also noteworthy with the cardamom providing an interesting complement to the bitters and orange. Overall, highly recommend this place.

This was my first time trying Burmese food. And heard really good about this place. And they did stand up to their praise.
Went here with my family and we ordered the Burma veg samosa soup, Fiery Tofu, Burma love fresh mint-chicken and coconut rice.
Burma veg samosa soup was really something different and very tasty! Fiery tofu- nothing fiery about it 😅 so don't get scared by the name. Burma love fresh mint-chicken was also very good and coconut rice as usual simple but delightfully complimenting all the other foods ☺️
Would surely recommend 👍

We ate at this restaurant with a group of friends and we liked the experience. The food is good, the service is polite and professional. Prices are high, but overall it was a good value for money.

Hostess went out of her way to help. The only table available was by the door. She was able to adjust move us to another table in few minutes
