I ordered a gluten-free strawberries and cream cake from Butter& for my sister’s (and my) joint birthday lunch.
For a city with such diverse food options, it was surprisingly difficult to find a bakery that could make an entirely gluten-free cake. I called two other popular places before checking with Butter& and I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to accommodate (and with a not small selection of options too!). They were even gracious enough to help me reschedule my order pickup when we had to postpone the celebration due to illness.
The cake itself was the perfect size (mini) and easily satisfied our group of 6; not too sweet but delightfully tasty! Just enough for some leftovers but not so much that you feel wasteful.
Thanks Butter& for a lovely birthday dessert!

We got the best service and the best, most beautiful wedding cake here. We got the gluten free tasting set to accommodate our guests and I forgot they were gluten free when we had our tasting. Seriously delicious flavors, we decided on the Meyer lemon and everyone at our reception was raving about it. They even got my exact wedding flowers on the cake. 10/10 no notes!

The online order experience and everything else was super. The roasted peach cake was divine. I could eat a bowl of your buttercream! I ended up freezing the cake for a few days and then thawed it in the refrigerator overnight per your colleague's suggestion and it was as fresh as just made. Two guests at the table are pastry chefs and gave it rave reviews. I missed out on your tiramisu version a while back and hope you will make it again.
